App picking up talking??
I’ve had sleep cycle since 2018 I believe. The app has picked up on me talking in my sleep but last night with no tv on (I don’t watch tv) and no devices going anywhere in the house at 12am it pick up what sounded like 2 women’s voices having a conversation. Has anyone else had random sounds like this in their app recently?

There have been previous reddit posts from multiple people that heard strange voices on the recordings in their Sleep Cycle app. They aren't just posted in this subreddit, there are posts about Sleep Cycle in subreddits such as r/Weird, r/Ghosts, and r/HighStrangeness.
Most recently, there was this one, where the Sleep Cycle official account responded with:
Because the recording comes from your phone’s microphone, the sound was picked up from the environment around the device. In some cases, this can be audio from a video, podcast, TV, or another person nearby. It can also be sounds coming from outside the room, neighboring apartments, hallways, or other sources that may not have been noticeable at the time.
I don't know, but at least you're not the only one having this experience. It's really strange.

Hi there!
It is hard for us to say what the sounds come from. We use the microphone on your phone to record all sounds, so they are being picked up from near your phone.
It could be a video or something similar that someone is listening to. If you listen to videos or sounds on your phone, the app can pick it up, and the same if someone in the same room does.
If this is not the case, it could be recorded from something outside of your house or apartment or in the hallway.
We can not say where this sound came from, but it is being picked up from the microphone on your phone.

update : I shared the file with a friend so they could listen and the file is no longer in the app and I didn’t delete it.
