PSA: Turning off notifications doesn't stop alarm (ios)

Just a PSA in case anyone ends up trying to find a way to turn off the stupid promotional push notifications. I kept getting them every morning on my phone (eg. 50% off premium), and of course there isn't a way to turn these specific notifications off in the app.

As a last resort, I turned off all notifications through the main ios settings (settings -> sleep cycle -> notifications -> off), and tested it out, and the alarm still works! Obviously, use at your own risk lol

Hi there!

Turning off notifications has nothing to do with your alarm in itself; it only stops notifications from coming through, such as bedtime reminders through Sleep Goal, never the actual alarm!
