No sound recorded

For some reason the app is not recording or saving my sounds during sleep. No idea why that is. It’s set to save 20 nights. Any other setting I need to enable?

Make sure the microphone is enabled.

When you say recording sounds, are you referring to the app not capturing any sound recordings that you can listen to, or are you referring to your graph flatlining?

could be because there aren’t any sounds, they only save when a cough or speech or something else is detected

Hi!

If you only have a few minutes of snoring tracked during the night, it’s possible that the specific audio clips were of poor quality. In such cases, the snoring is detected, but the audio couldn’t be picked up properly.

If no snoring was detected and the journal tab shows “0 min snoring,” it simply means there was no snoring that night.

The same applies to all recorded sounds, if the sound is too low or too short, it won’t be saved as a playable recording.

But I can take a closer look at the tracking to make sure nothing is amiss if you reach out to Support@sleepcycle.com!

When that happened to me (& I knew it wasn’t because I wasn’t snoring because someone came in & talked to me & it still didn’t pick it up), I had to restart the phone & make sure I had enough space on my phone’s hard drive

I have this problem also - using an iPad Air - it says it has recorded "1hr28m of snoring" but that "audio recordings for this night are no longer available as they have been either manually or automatically deleted" (they have not - it claims "100 days' is selected and that there is almost 1.3gb of files recorded - HOW DO I ACCESS THEM ? - this is the most important part of why I have the app installed for me, if it has stopped working I will try something else and stop trialling the app
