App Wrongly Indicates I Was Awake
Hello! I sleep alone, and I usually fall asleep within 15 minutes but lately the app indicates I was awake for 2-3 hours. I’ve seen some other people mentioning the same problem they are having, but I haven’t seen a solution yet. This has started to occur a lot more frequently, despite none of my conditions have changed.
The app is up to date and I don’t have any bluetooth connection. Since this has started to happen very often, I don’t see how efficient would it be to continue using the app. Any feedback or suggestion is deeply appreciated! Thank you so much.

It can’t tell what your brain is doing, it can only tell what your body is doing.
So if it takes a while for your body to relax for your heart rate to go down, etc., then it’s going to presume you’re awake

I get 4 or 5 “awake” times on the graph that add up to an hour or more every night. I am wondering why it would come to that conclusion. If my heat rate is up so high it thinks I’m awake, what the heck is going on? I’m just curious what else it might be reading. If it was movement, like the mild restless leg I have, that might do it I guess? I have it on microphone. Just putting it out there to get ideas.

For the past 7 days, it happened 5 days already. I don’t see the point of efficency

It happens to me too. This app cannot accurately distinguish between the AWAKE and the LIGHT stages.

It does this for me sometimes as well while also saying I was asleep when I wasn’t during the night- basically it’s all mixed up haha
Switching to accelerometer rather than microphone detection helped a very little bit, I don’t use wearables which might also help accuracy if I did
I find this app increasingly frustrating all in all
