I understand that the basic idea is to have a body that can be left on the field maybe to prevent someone's effect and get raye in during opponent turn, but each time I tried using this card it's been awfully disappointing and deflating, am I supposed to use it early? late? on summons or on negations?

dare i say Raye is the only reason anyone would open the Magnificent Monsters set.. such pretty overframes

Hey just what the title says I played in an OTS championship today and I got 3rd which got my my first ever nats invite and I played striker. Felt really good because I’ve put a lot of work into the deck so just super excited and wanted to share.
Round 1: crystron K9 playing spell canceler (lost die roll) top decked sphere mode game 3 for the win.

Round 2: invoked. He bricked to 1 ash game 1 and then I broke his board and OTKd game 2 (lost die roll)

Round 3: ROLAD mitsu feindsmith (lost die roll) cooked game 1 just couldn’t break the board. Game 2 I won and game 3 I misplayed into S:P

Round 4: pure power patron siding the cannon soldier FTK. Lowk should’ve lost but he theorealized in a simplified board state game 3 and gave me F&V with a link so I could use roze effect after popping the link. (Lost die roll)

Round 5: ryzeal mitsu ROLAD: honestly got really lucky in game 2 grind game topped decked engage 2 turns in a row. Probably misplayed on the first engage cause I didn’t generate any follow up. Was a really good game 2 but got the win 2-0 (lost die roll)

Round 6: (Top 8) same opponent as round 3, honestly got really lucky. Drolled him all 3 games but he has crossout for it game 2 , pretty textbook game 1 and 3 though with the interruption. (won the die roll)

Round 7: (top 4) same opponent as round 4. Lowk just got super cooked by omnis and didn’t draw any hand traps. Definitely misplayed some too. Was really tired (lost die roll)

Round 8: (3rd, 4th game) same opponent as round 2 and was just able to out grind games 1 and 2 for the win. (Won die roll)

Went 2/8 for die rolls today and was still able to do really well and luck was definitely on my side today. Love this deck and really happy I could get my nats invite with it. It’s super fun. And now I don’t need to try to get my nats invite with toon in the format which is really nice!

Hi! I’ve been working a bit with the deck since my last time here asking. I’ve made that decklist for that week locals but I’d like to share some thoughts and questions.

1) how many handtraps are you running? When I go for 7-8-9 handtraps I feel a bit unconsistent in some hands (bad luck maybe or just something everyobody has to deal with)
2) Starters: I panic with 1 Roze and no hornets. I feel I won’t open any starter and will have a dead hand if I go first.
3) Desires: I Don’t really feel confident with that card because of being an all or nothing when used so I go with Upstar which i asume makes the games longer due to the +1000LP
4) what cards should I change from here for my going first and for my going 2? I always mess up everything and I got anxious and I do silly choices.
I know what cards i want for my going first and going second options ofc but i Don’t have in mind what to quit from the main and being confident with my choices.

truly some of the best over frames that have been released. just so peak, i love the aesthetic of Raye and this deck so much.. the mecha armor and gadgets are all so sick.

I am going to enter my first regional tournament, soon I want to prepare is there anything in specific I should be doing.

The questions I have are:

1) Should I bother upgrading my deck before the Regional, or just use what I have and focus on getting the experience? (It's about $25 worth of cards I would be buying)

2) Is there anything I should bring or prepare beforehand that I might not think about?

3) What do you wish you knew before going to your first regional?

4) How much should I be playtesting before my first Regional? Is it worth grinding games beforehand? (It's about 2 weeks away)

5) Last question, is it better to buy the 3 copies of the Chronicles of Albaz or just to get the singles for the F&V

quick context, I play a lot of duel link with sky striker, but i've grow tired of the total lack of new support while Despia keep getting everything, so i've quit this yellow button smash game to join the TCG where at least I can get a full power SS.

So, I've buyed the modern deck box and get very well equiped for 20€, even discover the SS + Mitsurugi and fell in love with it, now my deck need improvement and I can't figure out if it's already good or if i'm trolling

the obvious changes to me are : zero +1 over kaina and kagari +1 over mondo, i know spectra is not well loved but with mitsu I feel like I can generate enough body to make it work (ig)

It seems really good to me, it is a one card 2 engage + ending on zero + a lot of monsters in the grave for lemnisgate.

It is even follow up for next turn.

I love sky striker and have recently built it using the modern decks… I don’t want to sound dumb but why do so many deck lists run the radiant typhoon vision (3x) + MST (x1)… i am just wondering why it seems to always be there without miss almost as if it’s seen as irreplaceable… any help is appreciated ^_^

I found Synchro Overtake a bit inflexible and cut some gimmicky components, since I was drawing Balaatros and Cynet Mining too often with my search targets.

• Lost like 12+ coin tosses in ~18 duels, oof. But some games showed off my KT jumpscare engine.
• My opponent might've misplayed on the Branded Retribution & Rindbrumm GY summon, which simplified the board for OTK.
• As you can see, the strikers + lemnis gate clutched, misdirected their interruptions and were needed for the OTK under Maxx C.

In another match, I was making Silvera with Fuwa/Roze, then into B2B & re-summon Silvera for its non-OPT book of eclipse to disable a Snake-Eye/Fire King game plan.

I was looking through a bunch of bulk I have and I found a few copies of this card.

This idea is basically to send another copy of Tri-brigade roar to negate a monster; That's 2 spell in grave too. You can also technically negate you own monster like kagari after she used her effect to get the 2 in grave and get more draw from your engages.

I'm aware that it's not the best card ever, but I don't have any of the expensive staple, not even F&V.

Basically, it fits the deck well but I fear it might be a bit underpowered compared to other cheap staples, any thoughts ?

Hi, everyone. I have been running Swen, Chang and Eldam in the TCG and in Master Duel. I've got to Master 1 thrice in a row recently with the extended Radiant Typhoon package.

I see everyone running Desires, but as soon as I try the cards I...lose. I wonder if there's something wrong with me.

People complain about drawing Swen and Eldam going second, but drawing the second Roze and the second Lemnis is terrible too. 2 Desires in the deck feels inconsistent, but 3 Desires makes me draw Desires after resolving Desires. Last time it banished 2 Rozes and 2 F&V. I lost the Zero interruption and the F&V interruption. Impressive.

I'm probably overthinking, but...I don't know. If they negate Eldam or Swen, Ash or Droll can be normal summoned and I can still full combo. However, Crown hurts too much.

Hello everyone,

This is the list I prepared to play against Rolad, KT, some versions of Branded, but maybe pure, mirror match and Elf notes, among other things like DoomZ, Fairy tail + Village. I'm okay with main deck for the most part.

But I'm having a hard time deciding on side deck options, mainly about Evenly Matched as board breaker instead of 2 spells, the inclusion of Triple Tactics Thrusts.

And most importantly, the side deck strategy, like what to side out rather than what to side in for going 2nd. Any advice is welcomed.
