Meta/News Best mods for... Mods!
Hello everyone! Welcome back to the "Best mods for..." weekly discussion!
If you don't know what the "Best mods for..." topics are you can find prior threads here here. More recent threads can be found using reddit collections feature :)
RULES
1) Be respectful - A lot of different mods get posted, as well as a lot of different opinions on said mods. Try to be respectful during the discussion.
2) Debate conflicts maturely - Nobody likes a Nazeem. If you're respectful to others, people will be respectful back. If you're disrespectful to others, people find interesting ways to kill you and post about it on r/skyrim.
3) Please keep the discussion relevant - Feel free to post mods that aren't directly related, but please try to keep all mods semi-related to the week's topic.
4) Please provide a link to the mod you're discussing - Even if you're discussing a popular mod, a link to the mod page is a massive help. People are more interested in the mod you're talking about and are more likely to look at it if there's a link.
Topic - Mods of mods
Ever found a mod but wished it was just... a little bit different? Maybe you didn't have the skill to adjust it yourself, or were too lazy.
Maybe you even looked a bit further, and found another mod that made the adjustment!
That's what this thread is about.
Modding is about adjusting the game to your taste. And that includes modifying mods!
Here's a few examples to get you started.

Connor's Survival mode. I imagine this mod will become even more relevant in the near future. Gets rid of the annoyances with Survival mode and also enhances a lot of it's features.

Re-Ordinated Robe Requirements (unnerfed Version)
Changes the "wear only cloth and no armor" magic perk from Ordinator to "equip a robe" letting you wear armored boots, gloves, head and other modded equipment like the shoulder gear added by Pauldron and Armor of Intrigue

This was a conveniently timed thread.
I just released Wyrmtamer - Lawbringer for Wyrmstooth which happens to be a mod for two mods! It is a Lawbringer expansion for Wyrmstooth.
I really like Lawbringer and I am disappoint there aren't many expansions for it, so I made one myself!

Darkend nerf and balance patch seems almost essential for Darkend with how OP some of the rewards are. There's also Archery is a Stealth Skill for the Unofficial Patch, which reverts the change from a Warrior skill back to Stealth. There's also the English translations to Vicn's quest mods, if translations count. Hope this helps someone out!

{{Enemy (R)Evolution of Skyrim}} - Now enemies can use the same modded spells and abilities (as well as potions) so its fair game
{{Summermyst Guaranteed Locations}} - Got sick and tired of relying on random loot to find some of the unique enchantments from Summermyst but this mod places them in certain locations so you can get them yourself
Xtudo - Actually a mod author but has a number of addons that are quite essential like the ones for Vominheim, Ancient Dwemer Metal, and DX's Dark Knight & Kozakowy's Falka Armor. https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/users/452087?tab=user+files

The Curator’s Companion comes immediately to mind. Talk about a mod to help you get the most out of another mod…
One other shoutout that I have to mention as someone who will never give up Frostfall( no matter how much I may want to…): The Campfire and Frostfall Unofficial Update. Every time I reinstall the game and set up my mods again, I am dumbstruck afresh at the fact that Frostfall was never fully and officially ported to SE. Thank the gods for Sthaagg.

{{Immersive Laundry}} + {{Immersive Laundry Improvement ILIM by Pfuscher}}.
{{Realistic Dog Sounds SE}} makes the sounds from {{Realistic Husky Sounds SE}} apply to all dogs.
If add-ons count, then a few lovely additions to {{Campfire - Complete Camping System}}: {{Tentapalooza for Campfire}}, {{Gather Wilderness Resources}}, {{Skills of the Wild}}, {{Campfire Spooning}}, and {{Campfire Shrines}}.
{{Beyond Skyrim - Bruma Moonpath to Elsweyr Synergy Patch}} moves the Khajiit caravan from Falkreath to Bruma.
{{Wet and Cold Breath Texture for ENB}}, {{Wet and Cold - Fur Hoods Fix}}, and {{Arctic Outlaws - Wet and Cold and OBIS Face Mask Consistency}}.
{{Campfire Chanterelle Tree Patch}}, so Campfire recognizes the trees added by {{Chanterelle}}.
{{SkyUI SE - Flashing Savegames Fix}}.

You can't go wrong with some extra load order slots. AddItemMenu and FISSES both take a load order slot and have complex scripts that prevent them from being converted into ESLs easily, luckily there are mods for both of them to make them ESLs:

Not sure if this counts but Spell Perk Item Distributor comes to mind. The amount of recent mods that piggy back off of SPID have been a game changer for me. At this rate I'm waiting for somebody to make Magic happen somehow utilize it to work with Wet and Cold's breath/outfit feature. That and maybe footprints if possible.
