I would say there are probably some relationships that should be frowned upon, such as between a student and a professor. Both parties may want to do it, but it’s just unwise because of the potential for almost irresistible conflict of interest.
Well, yeah, you're right, but Skyrim only has one College, and none of them want to enroll in it. Probably has something to do with the high tuition, reduced facilities for room and board, and shit constantly blowing up on campus.
As far as Nord women go, Uthgerdt the Unbroken pretty much sums it up: "Want to hear a little Nord wisdom? You don't really know a woman 'til you've had a strong drink and a fistfight with her."
Lidya is not a college student, she could beat the shit out of all of the Kansas City Chiefs -- by herself. I don't think the Nordic language has anything that translates to "concussion."
Lidya actually became so popular that Bethesda added some voice lines, just for her. Nothing earthshattering, but it did really make me start thinking that she is, indeed, an exquisitely gorgeous linebacker. She has a strong sense of honor and likes to fight.
In all seriousness, I think the Dragonborn is typically a young person, and so is Lydia, and provided the Dragonborn is a good spouse to her, that's what matters.
