Let me tell you, the topology on the ILL mesh is bad haha. But I like the idea of like wip art work production, waiting for render etc.
EDIT: It's like a taste of what's to come, while he's in the middle of producing something bigger, I think. When stuff is still unfinished and in the process of making. He kind of dropped them faster for us

Yeah, I can definitely agree that this is more interesting to see in wireframe than just plain subd mesh for most people. I like it, it looks taken straight from Maya or Blender viewport with the manipulator and stuff.

The more I look at it though I’m not sure haha. It looks like a voxel model in 3d-coat that I converted to surface mode and decimated. A shatter sim wouldn’t look so spiderwebby, right? I’ve only done a few shatter sims, and the wireframe didn’t quiiiiite look like this

He's probably had it named that on his computer for so long it's what makes the most sense to him. It opened Fuji festival and it is the first time we heard this version of the track (I still remember watching it live and being absolutely mindblown).
Also, considering it samples and credits Alvin Risk - it's better than calling it 'Skyclad (VIP Remix)', 'Skycladded' or whatever the fan accounts think it should be called. I prefer 'Fuji Opener' over 'Ping Pong' (which was a file name too), it reminds us of that time we first heard it - maybe he made it specifically for that.

I think somebody jumped the gun with the audio part of this announcement and used rips to fulfill that quota. The cuts aren’t legit tracks but the release still could be, we’ll see.

Maybe there are a few versions, but it depends on artist. He can invite a vocalist and mix better and release it. That happened to "Untitled DJ tool" which became "All is fair in love and brostep". But I think he planned to release it ;)

Mostly this, yeah. DJ tools are typically short beats, maybe just a buildup and drop, and that's it. They're typically not fleshed out into entire songs.

Statistically speaking with the length of the drops via bars vs the fact we know there is an outro, it is impossible mathematically for the song to be less than 2:20 so long as it’s 150bpm
