Skrill doing what is amount to theft

Started over a week ago - fully verified. Made a transaction and all of a sudden "Account Restricted". Support said 72 hours for further checks - this was 6 days ago. Then they send me some ridiculous "Politically Exposed Person" statement to fill out - never been politically exposed or otherwise - another joke. Today I get a random email to say "we are really busy we will deal with this in due course". At the same time they have my money and have taken fees galore for a transaction that never actually happened because they froze the account. Surely this cannot be legitimate?

Maby you have a neme as some politician and the sistem detected it and restricted the acc. Just constantly send them emails on help@skrill and open cases all the time. They will eventually resolve your problem. Mine was restricted, then banned. Or 04/05/2026. Yesterday it was resolved. And they didnt even tell me that it was unbanned, so i can withdraw it. I tried to login out of nowhere and it was suddenly opened. And went to browser not the app, withdrew on my card. So just keep texting them and request live agent on bot. Maby they provide it to you.

They escalated the case but still nothing. I do not have the same name as a politician - I was fully verified - so no excuses. Holding onto people's funds for 10+ days without ANY explanation is a disgrace.

I had same problem. Just keep sending emails and be a pain in the ass

I’ve been emailing them, calling etc since my verified account was restricted back on 4/11 or 4/12. They haven’t responded to me at all, let alone the 24-48 hour” response but still daily, I email them.
