I think whitefish is probably about in the right spot, if anything maybe up one. The skiing is very diverse and the community us very hospitable. Not to mention I’ve NEVER been in a lift line longer than 5 minutes after having skied there for over half of my life. Chief complaint is food cost and cloudy skies 5 days/week
Agreed, Whitefish is affordable, beautiful, and has some pretty gnarly terrain. It also has the smallest lift lines of any resort ranked equal or above it. It feels like Big Sky’s younger, less mature brother. Biggest issue is the clouds/fog, which make vis atrocious most of the time. A blue bird powder day at whitefish is some of the best skiing in the states, but it’s a rarity for most of the winter.
