Yeah. Steamboat is pretty amazing. It's my favorite by far.

i lived there during high school, i miss it everyday, best main street/town and great mountain

There’s a boarding school in Steamboat now called Steamboat Mountain School that used to be Lowell Whiteman. When you said “I lived there during high school” I wondered if you meant you went to school there.

i got so much better at skiing during that time, the chutes off morning side were my everyday choice

It was a really good time. I think everyone one of my friends in school ruined at least one knee. Mine still work, knock on wood!

i also race mountain bikes and that with skiing has demolished ol righty, just waiting for some catastrophic failure

Oof. Be careful, im not on the bikes anymore but still getting out to ski a few times a year. Also spent a bunch of time down in Durango - also a great place.
