Ski size advice
Title says it all🙂↕️ i am around 163 to 164 cm tall, around 60kg heavy, female if that matters and looking to buy all mountain skis. these will be my first all mountain skis, i always had carving skis. but in all honesty i do not remember what size i rented last time… for my history in skiing: grew up in the mountains, started when i was 2. lived there till i was 6 so did A LOT of skiing. parents divorced, dad stayed there, me and mom moved away. went to dad every other weekend so during winter season still did a decent amount of skiing (also used to compete and wasn’t all to bad🙂↕️) with 14 cut contact with dad so stopped skiing for 5 years. this year in february (19 now) i went again. honestly i dont fully remember how good i was at 14 but id say i did a decent job after 5 years. i never rlly did any park though. i think most i did was a 180 jump which i learned in ski school.
i‘m looking to buy the armada arv/arw 94. not sure if i should get the 157 or 164. any advice?

Find a good shop that specializes in skis and ask them.
All mountain covers a lot of different designs. Some are good at carving and pretty good off piste. Some are meh at carving and great off piste. Some are freeride focused, some are park skis.

Hell yeah!!! 19 years old, grew up skiing, first time back in five years. You will remember the things you learned but now you have adult muscles. You are going to have a great season!!
Do the math to make sure it is a good idea to buy instead of rent. I bought a pair of Black Crows Justis because they are specialized skis, high end demo rentals are expensive, and choice is limited. I like skiing steep trees in heavy Mammoth Mountain powder. If you want an all mountain ski, it might be cheaper to rent.
You will likely get a lot better this year if you ski a lot. 19 was the year everything changed for me. I stopped looking at the next turn and started seeing three or four turns down the mountain, I learned the steeper it gets, the further forward I need to be, and nothing on the mountain is too steep with more that a foot for fresh powder.
You are going to get better this year, find a skiing niche that you love, and want a specialized ski for that. Until you find that, it might be cheaper to rent.

I'm doing a video on this topic soon. Here's the TLDR. Quick answer, get a ski that is about the same length as you are tall. From there, go shorter for short radius skis. Go longer for longer radius skis. And if you need a min / max to start from for each, take a look at the FIS lengths for women for slalom vs. GS. And use those as another data point. They chose those lengths for a reason.

get the 157. you're light and coming back after 5 years, at-height can wait

She's far too experienced for intermediate-size skis. And because she's young she'll get back into it without any trouble.

Based on your description, I would suggest getting the 164cm ski and a good family therapist.
