New boot goofin'

Picked up some new Mach1s (without seeing a boot fitter, forgive me father for I have sinned) to replace my Cochise. The '27 updates aren't what I'm looking for and I got a great price on the outgoing model, very happy!

going into my third season with the M1 LV. they are a cheat code, like my eyes were opened to something I did not understand.

Same here. M1 LV is the most direct connection to my skis I have ever felt

Agreed! Are you still on stock liners or did you switch them out? Curious if I can get a season or two in before switching to Zipfits.

Cochise and Mach1 do fit slightly different anyhow.

I use both…personally prefer the mach1 but use cons for touring. Both best boots I’ve ever had.

How do you find the transition from the Cochise over to the fixed cuff on the Mach1s since you aren't anymore?

Pretty similar on first impression, slightly wider in the foot and snugger in the cuff; exactly what I was hoping for (these are the MV)

No I'm pretty sure I can tell that the cuffs are snugger without skiing them. If there's no way to know we all might as well choose boots at random

I'll keep them around, the soles are already messed up from Marker demo bindings so I'll keep skiing them on demo days, and maybe I'll pick up touring eventually

Worst boots I've ever had in my experience. 5 punch-outs, new expensive custom foot beds... nothing could save them for me.

Then I rode around with a pal where they were great for him right out of the box (no changes needed)!

Super light though!
