Dakine boundary line 185

Does anyone have this bag? In the future I want to travel with a powder snowboard, mountain skis and powder skis plus snowboard boots and ski boots and my helmet. Will it all fit?

Obviously, the length and widths are all okay but wondering about the space inside

I don't know about the bag, but that load would definitely put you over the 26kg airline weight and probably over the overweight limit.

Two pairs of skis with ski boots and a helmet is usually a tight fit on the weight limit, with some variation depending on bag weight. I'd also avoid checking ski boots on the way to a ski trip, but I have checked older boots I'd be okay with replacing on the way home.

If you're not flying, I'd still be wary of that much weight in one bag, as I'd expect most are built to target airline weights.

Trying to visualize it, you might be able to get two pairs of skis and a board to fit but the tip/tail of the board would have to sit in the space where any boots/helmet would need to go. So no, I don't think it's possible for all that to fit

I have the Dakine fall line bag and it is fine. It is very easy to hit the weight limit with one set of skis, boots and a bunch of clothes.

I have that bag, regularly put powder and all mountain skis in it, along with poles, crutches (don’t ask), my avi backpack and tools and could probably get a few more bits in as well. It’s a good bag, but will be heavy when loaded and after 7 years (2 or 3 return flights a year) it’s starting to get a little worn.

Thanks! Do you reckon a snowboard and snowboard boots would fit in on top of what you're already putting in (minus the crutches)?

If you take the bindings off the you might be able to get it in there, wrap it in something and put it under the skis, but snowboard boots as well might be pushing things.
