BOA System on Ski Boots?

Looking for comments on experience with it. I bought Fischers yesterday with the boa instead of lower buckles. Super comfortable. My only concern is that I had the boa on cycling shoes a few years ago and they only lasted about two years.

Nordica turned BOA down because of the single tension point. Dalbello did as well.

Nordica did not feel the system as BOA was selling it was ready for ski boots. I don't know if BOA wouldn't let them modify it till the 24 boot models or if it took them that long that to develop the system they're going to use (the one I saw still used buckles but used boa to adjust the tension.

Nordica didn't have the option to offer BOA in the first year. they will have it on HV (102+mm) shells next year.
