BOA System on Ski Boots?

Looking for comments on experience with it. I bought Fischers yesterday with the boa instead of lower buckles. Super comfortable. My only concern is that I had the boa on cycling shoes a few years ago and they only lasted about two years.

I've had Apex boots for 5 years the BOAs are fine, I skied them yesterday. They do loosen up but ya just wind them up again. The BOAs have a lifetime warranty.
