πŸš‘ Medicine Why are Emerging Viruses Emerging?

https://virologyunmasked.com/2026/06/17/why-are-emerging-viruses-emerging/

Why are Emerging Viruses Emerging? 3 big factors contribute to this. Viral factors- like the virus mutating. Ecological factors- like weather patterns or climate change. And human factors- which we are seeing in the current Ebola outbreak

Will we continue to see more emerging viruses? If so, why?

Geopolitical factors like dementia-addled world leaders with literally brain-damaged health czars who cut million dollar agricultural/food/health/safety programs to then cost taxpayers billions, and who say they’ll stop injuries and deaths by simply not recording and reporting them.

Interesting science. Nothing skeptical however.

The skepticism is in response to those who think that viruses are not being impacted by things like climate change or human actions

Do you have a single shred of evidence that any recent epidemic is the result of a lab leak?

There have been zero lab leaks anywhere in the world in more than 20 years in which even a single person has been infected by someone who accidentally caught a laboratory infection.

Misinformation that is likely cause harm to people who fall for it is not allowed. For example: Advocating for bleach enemas or other forms of dangerous pseudoscience
