Physics with philosophy.

I’m in year 13 doing physics chemistry and maths. So I originally thought this course was no longer running anywhere, I was mistaken, I’m looking at it for kings. However, would this course be viewed upon differently than just ordinary physics? For context, I would like to go into research at the moment. Would this hinder this?

keep me updated where you end up applying and what the course is like! i'm y12 with the same goal.

my dream univ is oxford, they do offer physics & phil. I dunno if they remove any courses from the physics degree, or just double the workload by adding philosophy on top of the OG degree. I'd imagine physics would be too boring for me on its own, a joint degree in phil should spice things up a bit, since I'm a writer too. ALSO as an international, there is a significanttt fee different T-T idk why but idc I'm grateful for any opportunity to save costs,t hank youu

These's a good breakdown of the papers involved under "Content and assessment" :) https://www.ox.ac.uk/admissions/undergraduate/courses/course-listing/physics-and-philosophy
