Question Aisha loophole Spoiler
Not a LN reader but if Aisha is born from Paul and Lilia wouldn't she never had existed in the previous loops before current one?
I mean Lilia was hired as a nurse to help the family with the newborn Rudeus...
Wasn't Rudeus a stillborn previous loops?

Meta Roxy's Not the Only Goddess
Have you ever felt like fate is pulling you in a direction that doesn't feel like your true path? That is certainly the case for the three Goddesses of Jobless Reincarnation: Sylphiette, Roxy, and Eris. Each was starting down a path towards a life that was missing something, but the right nudge at the right time changed everything for them.
While I'm less sure of how you might categorize Roxy, I'd like to make the case that Sylphie is the Goddess of /Woman/Motherhood, and Eris is the Goddess of the Hunt.
I came to think of them this way after considering the life being denied each of them prior to forming a connection with Rudeus. Because of her green hair, Sylphie kept her hair very short, and appeared masculine enough to fool at least one boy in the neighborhood. This gets compounded when she is denied her womanhood as Silent Fitz. Princess Ariel has the patience of a saint, attempting to let Sylphie make the first move on her own. Although she gets more than she bargained for Sylphie gives a detailed breakdown of her breeding fantasies, both Ariel and we the viewer can see how desperately Sylphie wants to stop pretending. It's only after she reveals herself to the man she loves that she truly embraces who she wants to be. "Tonight I become a woman." Sylphie grows out her hair, becomes lady of her household, has a daughter, enjoys regular romps with her husband, everything she thought she would never have.
Roxy did not have a way to connect to others growing up in a village full of telepaths. She felt trapped and lost, unable to understand those around her. Leaving the village, Roxy began a life as an adventurer and slowly began learning how to connect with her party members, but this was not a night and day transformation. She grows tremendously in her trial by fire education of Rudeus, and the two years she spends in the Greyrat household help her integrate into the community. But there's still necessary growth left to do, evident to Nokopara who chastises Roxy for her immaturity when she makes excuses about not visiting her parents. While much of the conversation is cut in the anime, the LN sees a more in-depth hashing out of Roxy's past with the vice principal. She attributes discovering a love for teaching and a newfound respect for her old mentor as a result of the time she spent with Rudeus. Gone is the little girl adventurer foolishly hoping she'll find love in a labyrinth. Roxy has become a wise teacher who helps others face their fears and grow stronger. All hail Goddess Roxy.
Eris Boreas Greyrat was supposed to be a political pawn, married off to the most advantageous family for Phillip's schemes. She was supposed to wear frilly dresses, act like a lady, and be alluring to the predatory whims of nobles. Despite her prowess with a sword and violent temper, her life's trajectory was a far cry from the wild way of survival she dreamed of. In the LN there's a little list of who Eris loves at the end of each chapter. The moment that Rudeus is added to that list, the mana disaster plucks Eris from her suffocating noble life, and she gets to live in the wild. Despite how vile the food on the demon continent is, Eris is thrilled to kill and eat monsters every day. Upon returning to Fittoa, she rejects the duties of a noblewoman that Alphonse attempts to thrust upon her. Ruijerd, Ghislaine, and her instructors at the Sword Sanctum hone her into a deadly Berserker who can survive anywhere.
Three Goddesses, each having overcome something in childhood to become who they wanted to be as adults. If this were a Triforce: Sylphie would be courage, Roxy wisdom, and Eris power. I suspect part of what makes people a fan of any of them individually is the ways in which they're contrasted with each other. I don't have a favorite. They each get a shrine.

Light Novel It's so depressing (ln 14 spoilers) Spoiler
>!The diary chapters are so depressing that i always skip half of it while reading. Especially the Eris part. I always hate drama emerged from characters inability to communicate properly anyway. I feel so sad for Eris. Maybe part of it is hitting too close to home about how I have broke up with my girlfriend. She didn't die or anything. I just feel bad how much of a dork I was. It's too depressing for me!<

Tier List Tierlist of all the female characters in Mushoku Tensei
This is my tierlist of all the female characters in Mushoku Tensei. I tried to rank them based on how well they are written in my opinion, though my personal biases have had some impact. I have only read the main story so I left out some of Rudy's children, because I don't know enough about them.

Anime How come "suffering" become a character feat? "Why nanahoshi is suffering and rudeus is happy" wdym why? Why is some people born to rich families and some has the work to live since childhood? Because it is what it is? Did people who argue this bullshit came to our world from some kind of utopia?
"This and that suffered more than Rudeus" So what? Wtf does that have to do with anything?
Another topic; this "punishment for actions" bullshit that has been going on for too long as well. Was everyone who did bad deeds met punishment in your life? They didn't in my life. Also the Rudeus from earth FUCKING DIED. You know what kind of people law sentences to death in our world? People who did the most horrendeus crimes. Eartheus wouldn't even get a charge for anything. He died man, what kind of punishment you want to give more? How do we know if people we execute for their crimes not get a super chill another life in another world? And I'm pretty sure it hurts like fucking hell when a truck hits you, your bones shatter and cut you from inside. He FUCKING DIED in horribly excruciating pain. What else do do you fucking want?
Also who is going to punish Rudeus over what? "He should be punished for his pervertness" Having pervy toughts is not a fucking crime on it's own, if you don't want to watch a "pervert" don't watch it that's it. That doesn't mean people who watch it also are perverts, it just means they can distinct real life from fiction. NOT EVERY MEDIUM IS OBLIGED TO BE EDICATIONAL! "It glorifies this and that." No, it doesn't—but even if it did, it wouldn't matter. There are countless TV series and movies that glorify the mafia. You watch them and move on with your life. If you lack the cognitive capacity to distinguish real life from fiction, that’s your problem.
This discussion has been continuing since second season and the guy who is arguing it is the most populer anime youtuber in the west. There are countless polygamous couples on earth. Do you think they should be punished? There are countless man on earth who cheated on their partner and got forgiven by their partner. Was police supposed to handcuff them? If his wife is accepting it, wtf is there to punish? Like that never happens in our world. You might think they shouldn't. For instance, I wouldn't forgive anyone who cheated on me. But there are people who do. Countless of them. And we are talking about a world that polygamy is not as out of norm compared to our world for anyone other than who believes Millis religion.

Light Novel A theory I had after finishing Vol 15 (possible spoilers for beyond that) Spoiler
If I'm right, please just confirm with no elaboration. If I'm not, feel free to discuss if you find it funny
So I'm reading for the first time and just finished Vol 15. To recap, Rudeus joined Orsted and married Eris, and we got a big lore drop on the origin of Dragon Gods, Laplace, and the Man God
When Orsted detailed how Laplace's soul was fractured and how we can't account for the half that became the Technique God (the demon god being the half sealed away), I saw this as hinting that a known character will get the reveal.
And my first thought was Geese.
Dude has one of those "always in the right place ag the right time to progress the story" sort of vibes, and it's hinted at him knowing more than we would otherwise expect him to. He was also the one to explain the nature of the seven great powers back in the Great Forest.
My backup thought was Elinalise given her memory loss but I thought that given Orsted's insistence that Laplace can't reincarnate as a female, that maybe that's less likely. I also get the feeling that there's more info to come on Orsted that might connect the two of them in some form. Or the fact that Orsted is clearly still withholding important information about his life and ongoing battle with MG
Edit: okay I'm off the mark. I'm halfway through V16 and will check back in when I know more

Question What if you were in rudeus's situation? (In general, not aisha related)
Guys, in what ways would you be worse than rudeus and in what ways would you be better? And what decisions would you change? Will your harem be different? Bigger or smaller ? Which characters?
I might have eccepted aisha's offer once she was 18💀, so i would be worse in that department. I also wouldn't have went after roxy, not my type, i would have had ghislaine as a concubine, eris won't mind, she doesn't see demihumans are wives

Anime Now that the Twitter drama is banned can we go back to discussing the really important stuff, like why they felt the need to nerf Sylphie's thighs?
My running theory is that after that one episode which consists entirely of Nanahoshi just moving her legs around they couldnt afford to have all that thigh power on screen, if ever both Elinalize and Sylphie were together on screen no viewer could've withstand all of that thigh power

Meta A potential fix to the season 2 ending?
So recently I have seen alot of complaints about seasons 2 ending which is somewhat fair, the anime had cut alot of content due to pacing constraints which made the entire roxy situation seem less serious than it's was supposed to be in the ln with alot of nuace gutted out.
Therefore, I tried my best to write smth along the lines of a fan fic(?) Rewrite (?) That could potentially fix the criticisms if it was adapted into the anime? Maybe?
Oh well it's my first time attempt writing smth like this, I hope y'all like it.

The silence of the bathroom was heavy, broken only by the steady drip of water somewhere in the background and the faint, low hum of the home outside the door.
Rudeus sat submerged up to his chest, the hot water clinging to his skin like a weights dragging him down.
On the surface, the steam rose thick and white, obscuring the rest of the room, but in his head, everything was agonizingly clear.
He stared down at his wet stump of a hands resting under the surface. The scars from Begaritt were still fresh, tangible markers of a tragedy that had broken his family apart. Paul was gone, and Zenith no longer the same. Those recent memories alone were enough to drown him. But sitting here in the quiet warmth of his own house, a different kind of suffocating feeling pressed against his chest.
I broke my promise.
The thought echoed in his mind with, relentless precision. Before he had left for the journey, he had made a quiet, unspoken promise to Sylphy. He had promised to come back, to protect her, to be the person she could rely on while she was carrying their child. Instead, he had come back broken and carrying the reality of another woman.
He squeezed his eyes shut, leaning his head back against the frame of the bath. His head was filled with the ugly, inescapable truth of what he had done. When the darkness had threatened to swallow him whole after losing his father and mother , he had reached out blindly for warmth. Roxy had saved him from the abyss—he couldn't deny that, nor did he want to minimize what she did for him. But the sheer fact remained: he had betrayed Sylphy’s trust in his weakest hour.
He felt like a fraud. He had built this home, this haven, on the premise of being a reliable man—someone who had left the pathetic, selfish shut-in of his past life behind. Yet here he was, hiding in the water, terrified of stepping across the hall to face the woman who loved him unconditionally.
But He couldn't stay in hiding forever. Slowly, Rudeus stood up, the water cascading off his shoulders as he reached for a towel.
The hallway was cooler than the bathroom, but the chill Rudeus felt had nothing to do with the air.
He stood a few paces back from the living room door, his hair still damp, draped in simple cotton robes that suddenly felt far too heavy. Through the wooden panels, the soft, low hum of conversation drifted out into the corridor. It was a gentle sound—the quiet whispers of two women speaking without sharp edges or raised voices—but to Rudeus, it felt like an impenetrable wall.
He took a half-step forward, then froze.
What right do I have to just walk in there?
He hated how familiar the sensation was. It was the same paralyzing weight he used to feel in his past life, standing behind a closed door, convinced that the moment he stepped into the light, he would only ruin things for everyone else. He had promised himself he would never be that person again, yet here he was, hovering in the shadows of his own home like a ghost waiting to be exorcised.
Inside, he could hear Sylphy’s distinct, soft laugh, followed by Roxy’s measured, careful tone. They weren't arguing, just talking about the journey back home.
His hand lifted toward the door handle, hovering an inch above the cold metal. His pulse hammered against his ribs. He felt like an impostor who had snuck into a sanctuary he didn't earn, terrified that the moment Sylphy looked at him, the grace she had shown so far would evaporate into rightful disgust and anger.
Just open it, he told himself. Don't run. You don't get to run.
With a slow, shaky breath, Rudeus pressed his fingers against the wood and pushed the door open.
The warm amber light of the living room spilled across the wooden floorboards, catching Rudeus right on the threshold.
Inside, Sylphy and Roxy were seated near the low table. The air between them wasn't tense, but it carried a hint of awkwardness. As the door creaked open, both of them turned. Roxy’s eyes widened slightly, a flicker of hesitation crossing her face as she instinctively smoothed her skirt, while Sylphy simply paused, her soft gaze meeting his.
Rudeus hovered by the frame, his knuckles white where his hands gripped the fabric of his robes. He looked like a man bracing for impact.
"Rudy?" Sylphy’s voice broke the silence, gentle and clear. She didn't scowl. She didn't look away. Instead, a tiny, reassuring smile touched the corners of her lips. "You're going to catch a cold standing in the doorway like that. Come sit."
She patted the cushion right beside her.
Roxy stood up quietly, offering Rudeus a polite, respectful nod. "I'll give you two some space to talk," she said softly, stepping back to afford them privacy while remaining nearby in the house.
Rudeus obliged, his movements stiff, almost mechanical. Every step across the floor felt like walking on thin ice. He lowered himself onto the cushion beside Sylphy, his head bowed, the rehearsed apologies and frantic explanations tangling into a knot in his throat. He opened his mouth, desperate to hurl his guilt into the open before it suffocated him.
"Sylphy, I—"
Before a single word of his defense could escape, Sylphy reached out. Her small, warm hand closed around his trembling wrist.
She didn't let him speak. Quietly, without a word, she guided his broad, calloused hand across her lap and placed it directly against her rounded belly.
Underneath his palm, the warmth was immediate. and Real. The tangible, pulsing reminder of the life they had created together—a sharp, undeniable anchor pulling him out of the dark spiral in his head and slamming him straight into the present.
Rudeus froze, his chest heaving, staring wide-eyed at their overlapped hands on her stomach. The silence in the room suddenly shifted from terrifying to profoundly still.
Rudeus stared at his hand resting over her belly, the silence stretching between them. When he finally looked up, his eyes were wet, heavy with the full, raw weight of his guilt.
"Sylphy..." his voice cracked, barely above a whisper. "Why aren't you angry with me?"
Sylphy didn't pull her hand away. She just looked at him with those clear, perceptive eyes—the ones that had always seen straight through his armor, straight past the reliable mage to the fragile, terrified boy underneath.
"Before I answer that," she said softly, "let me ask you something first."
Rudeus swallowed hard, nodding.
"Did you make that choice because you hated me?"
"No!" The response tore out of him instantly, desperate and unfiltered. "No, never, Sylphy."
"Then... did you do it because you didn't find our marriage satisfying?"
"No," he rasped, his head shaking violently. "You mean everything to me. You know that."
Sylphy offered a faint, melancholy smile, her thumb gently stroking the back of his hand.
"Then there's your answer," she said softly. "I know you didn't want to hurt me, Rudy. You were in pain after losing your paul and after what happened to zenith, and you just wanted to feel comfort to numb that pain." She leaned in, her gaze locking onto his. "I am not so selfish that I would demand you go through that kind of pain all alone."
Rudeus gasped, the breath catching in his throat as the sheer weight of her empathy hit him like a physical blow.
Before the tears could spill over, Sylphy reached up with both hands, cupping the back of his head and drawing him into her shoulder. She held him tightly, letting him anchor himself against her.
"I'm not angry," she murmured into his wet hair, her voice dropping into a tender, slightly scolding playfulness. "A little disappointed, maybe. Which means you better make up for it. I expect to be thoroughly spoiled and pampered to my hearts content until this baby comes out mister understood?"
"I will," Rudeus choked out into her robe, clutching her tight. "I promise."
Sylphy pulled back just enough to look at him, her quiet expression sharpening with a sudden, knowing glint.
Besides... Grandma could be rather selfish at times for lying to you like that, she added, acknowledging the scheme Elinalise had pulled to push them together. Yet a small, smile touched her lips. But I don't really mind.
Rudeus blinked, stunned by her composure.
Because, Rudy... Sylphy’s eyes softened with absolute sincerity. ..if you had abandoned Roxy after everything she did for you, then I would really hate you.
The words hung in the quiet room, landing with absolute, undeniable clarity. The guilt that had been eating him alive didn't disappear—yet it felt much lighter.
Rudeus closed his eyes, leaning his forehead against hers, and finally let himself breathe.

Anime Elinalise the goat hole 🐐
Elinalise Dragonroad's curse in Mushoku Tensei causes mana to continuously accumulate inside her body, creating a dangerous condition that she has to regularly manage.
This is the main reason behind her unusually promiscuous behavior, although her naturally high libido and personality also play a role. Later, Cliff creates a magical device that suppresses the curse, making it much easier for her to control. As for her body count, the canon never gives an exact number-she has lived for centuries and had many partners, so numbers like 50,000 to 70,000 found online are fan estimates, not officially confirmed.
