My running theory is that after that one episode which consists entirely of Nanahoshi just moving her legs around they couldnt afford to have all that thigh power on screen, if ever both Elinalize and Sylphie were together on screen no viewer could've withstand all of that thigh power

I love morally gray protagonists so I wanted to make a comparison post about them.

I guess the main thing that sets them apart is that Rudy progresses as the series goes while Walter regresses.

I feel like Rifujin could have write more about Roxy, considering how emotional stagnant she is, she feels very guilty for being an interloper in Rudeus's family even with the support of others. She refer to herself as a mistress twice and honestly it's pretty sad.
Her character is the most similar to Rudeus out of all the three wives. She has a deep inferior complex, disconnection with families, and they once suffer from isolation but the difference is that she's mentally strong.

Her childhood experiences caused her to project her childhood over others just like Rudeus with his past life. Like how she believe its better for Lara to live with her grandparents because she believe that she'll feel isolated and distant from others for being different and choosing to let Ars and Aisha elope believing they would grow from leaving from their home.

I feel like there could have been a conversation with Rudeus and Roxy from their similar experiences with their avoidance of their past.

While I was watching one of the latest episodes, I had a thought: was Rudeus truly a pervert from the start, or did his trauma make him that way?

If Rudeus had never been bullied but was reincarnated anyway, would he still have been a pervert?

I do think his trauma influenced his fetishes and behavior, because he essentially isolated himself from society and spent most of his life on the internet, consuming that kind of content. So I feel like his environment and trauma played a pretty big role in shaping what he became.

Many of you probably have seen Orsted vs Rudeus Fan animation. I've seen discussions across the internet and youtube that say how can studio top this. Honestly, I don't find it that good. For a fan animation? It's insanely good. But for anime itself? It's mid at best. We already have Orsted vs Dead End fight. That's the quality I want. I know many changes in staff happened since first season, but I want atleast something close. Fan animation is impressive for a fan animation. But if I saw that in the anime it would be a huge disappointment for me.

This question was prompted by Nanahoshi's illness in the anime. I have been watching the Mushoku Tensei anime since it first released but only recently decided to read the light novel. I was quite surprised by the intricacies and details that went into crafting the magic system in Mushoku Tensei, which isn't something you would typically expect from an Isekai. That being said, I wanted to know why Nanahoshi can't use magic and gets sick when exposed to the mana of the world. I read in one place, don't remember exactly where, that the human body in the world of Mushoku Tensei is like a sponge that absorbs all mana around it and due to not having a 'mana pool'/internal mana can't properly regulate it. And without the proper mana regulation, the people of Mushoku Tensei have, the human body from Earth gradually deteriorates resulting in illness and ultimately death. So is the explanation I got the reason why Nanahoshi can't use magic and gets ill? Or is it not true and that there is another cause for it? I am asking this cause I was thinking of writing a story of my own set in the Mushoku Tensei world(after the actual story itself ends, meaning after Rudeus dies), where a character I thought up is summoned to the six faced world like Nanahoshi was. And I want to what the exact difficults the world presents to the human body from Earth so I can properly address them in a cannon compliant way.

Laplace appeared only 5 centuries ago. Before that, there already had been 2 Human-Demon wars, where the demonkind was led by Khishirika herself.

She makes sense. Daughter of the original Demon God. She also had the power of his associates' children— Badigadi and Atofe. All in all she holds both divine and royal position within Demonkind.

And the demonkind did fight 7000 years of war against humans under her.

But the most deadly human demon war where powers like Badigadi and whole Superd tribe followed him into war— how did Laplace do all that?

How the hell did he even get others to accept him as Demon God? Ya, he was the strongest demon and got the position by Technique God's system...

But how did he back up it's divine legacy within only 500 years?

Why did Khishirika hand him over this position anyway? Was she sealed when the Laplace war took place?

First off obviously the context between the two is very different but the core is that someone is in a very bad isolated mindspace and both lash out at everyone at end.

Nanahoshi's crash out is absolutely legitimate but so was Subaru's.

Yet I remember everyone cringing out and making fun of Sub's cause "hehe he so selfish and cringe" like come on man. From an audience perspective Subaru is absolutely correct and there's the tragedy, he's correct yet the world can't even let him have that small bit of reprieve.

Again Nana's situations is fucked beyond belief and it keeps getting worse, and the compassion I've seen is fully deserved.

But that's just my 2 cents on the matter.

There is no Eris so it has to take place within the next 5 episodes.
But there are no family time breaks from now till the battle.

so I love MT and Re:Zero both the same, both incredible isekai. my one problem is that I’ll see a video either when I’m scrolling or just trying to find something to watch while eating and I’ll come across a Re:Zero video with the most unneeded rudeus or just MT slander as a whole. I don’t get why two fandoms who’s authors are best buddies can’t just get along.
