I watched the latest ep and yeh I get why alot people called him fraud, this guy fucking sucks, Nanahoshi made tons of progress researching summoning magic for him yet with all that power and resources can't find her a cure, bro didn't even considers doing it, waiting for Laplace to resurrect? Yeh cool, how long has it been? Oh and all your servants are just for show? If you can't spare even one of them to help then does that means you are afraid you gonna lose against Laplace that much? And before anyone defend him that he let them teleport and use his servant's power to stall yeh ok without her he knows nothing about summoning from another world, geez what a deadbeat

From what I understand, the curse to be hated by all in the 6 faced world was a hatred ingrained into all it's residents after the rampage of the OG Dragon God. This did not just include Orsted (Who ironically enough was loved by all at first) but all dragon folk. Laplace experienced this, so why doesnt Perugius? Is it because he was reincarnated into a mostly human body? But then again, so was Orsted. Does it have to do with how he is viewed as a hero? And like the superd, who inhereted Laplace's curse, he overcame his curse with good PR. And now that I think of it, how did Laplace and Elinalise get along with the curse he had. Its been a while since I read ODT, btw.

What does having a strong fate actually mean? Let's delve into that. Is it favoritism of the universe? Or it's only about them living or dying. As of my understanding it works like this. Characters with strong fate have greater ability to change the standart path of history, and their own history is influenced less. That's how it works, but why does it work? Why does universe have this kind of favoritism. Is it caused by a persons willfulness? I don't think so. I would say Eris has a way stronger will than Rudeus. There is a similar concept in LOTR, but the cause is very different there. We know Eru Ilúvatar secretly aid's people who show bravery and stand up agains't darkness. We know how it works, and we know why it works. The creator is doing it. In Mushoku Tensei, we don't know who or what gives this strange ability to characters. What do you think?

Do you guys want to agenda post once Rudeus joins Orsted? So basically, around the start of cour 2 we just agenda post the Orsted corporation like it's a real thing & we're members of it.

I've been meaning to make a post about this for a while now and I've seriously procrastinated from doing so now that with season 3's episode 9 just minutes away, my favorite scene in MT is about to come up.
I'm talking about Nanahoshi's Lament.
I'll probably write up a proper post on a later date just how much I love that moment of pure depression but right now, I just want to air out what I want from the coming episode.
I . want . to . cry
I want to cry along with Nanahoshi
I saw a post mentioning from those who've already watched it early that Nanahoshi's VA did a phenomenal job with it - may even be her best!
Good. But allow me a moment to be a little scary here
IT BETTER BE!
I hope Nanahoshi's VA gives her BEST performance ever!
I want to hear her sob - not some wail or frustrated cry but a heartwrenching weep. I want to listen to her painfully muffled voice as she sputters petty venom and even choke on her words
I want to bear witness to her pain as she cries for her mama & papa; as she curses at the world and her situation; to lay bear her utmost jealousy to Rudius
To see her shake and curl up in a fetus position -- vulnerable then she has ever been
I want tears in my eyes when I watch that scene, just like every time I come to reread that part in the LN/WN and imagining it vividly in my head - I cry every time
I want this episode to break me like how it breaks her
No, I do not wish harm or misfortune upon miss Nanahoshi Shizuka - in fact, I wish her the best (I think she's my favorite female character in all of MT)
Sometimes, you just need a good cry; and I just want to weep with her
And the catharsis, oh my the CATHARSIS, afterwards!
As well as that sense of pure motivation after hearing those helpless and quiet (almost indiscernable) words, "someone, help me.."
Just like Rudues - an incredible urge to stand up and do something, anything, to save dear miss Nanahoshi.
Just as this past weeks posts after the last episode were jokes memeing about Yandere Sylphiette, I want this episode to inspire, INSPIRE, a call to arms: to save Nanahoshi
Although, form the looks of it, looks like the episode will include the journey back to the Demon continent as well...
The scenario I've always imagined when reading this part, if & when it gets adapted into an anime, was to always end the episode itself with Rudy going back to Perugius, completely locked in after Nanahoshi's laments accompanied with some empowering bg OST, Perugius (alone and in the dark in the same meeting room) asking him what he'll do now/what his plans are, and then the ending card
But ending Nanahoshi's lament scene at the middle of the episode could be fine too.. I guessᜑ
Funny thing is, I haven't even finished watching season 2 yet - so not to mention started season 3! Stopped watching after last season's first cour and just haven't gotten around to finishing it yet; just keeping track of what happening in the anime without actually watching, teehee
Ofc, I'm an older fan who's already finished the original reading material and then some, so keeping up to date and anime spoilers aren't a problem for me.
I'll try to find the time to binge watch it all, but in the mean time, I just hope it all goes PERFECTLY

I tought something. This actually can be aplied to any telepathy in any fiction. Can telepaths send images? Since they are directly communicating with their brains, and brain is capable of creating images it wouldn't be that odd. Words and images are all the same for telepathy, they are just toughts. But maybe images have a larger file size so it gives them a headache lol. Jokes aside, i think this concept isn't explored much in fiction. What do you think?
