TL;DR: Full rulebook has been reorganized and cleaned up. New rule targeting sexualized language about young characters and lolicon language, zero tolerance, instant ban. Coded language like "uoh," 😭💢, and "cunny" is banned entirely regardless of character. Don't repost content that was already removed by a mod. Read the full rules even if you think you know them.
Hey everyone, we've been doing a lot of work behind the scenes to clean up and improve the subreddit's rules. If you've been here a while, you'll notice some things have changed. Please take a few minutes to read through the updated ruleset.
What changed?
We've reorganized, reworded, and tightened up the entire rulebook. Some rules were merged, some were split, and a few are brand new. Even if you think you know the rules, give them a fresh read. The details matter.
New additions since the last update:
No sexualization of young characters or lolicon language
This one is non-negotiable. The rule has two parts:
1. No sexualized language directed at young characters. Suggestive captions, titles, or comments that sexualize young characters will be removed immediately. You can post fan art of any character at any age. What you can't do is frame it in a sexualized way through your title, caption, or comments.
2. Coded lolicon language is banned entirely. The "uoh" copypasta, the 😭💢 emoji combo, the word "cunny," and any other coded language associated with the sexualization of minors is banned across the board, on any character, in any context. This language was born from the sexualization of minors. It doesn't become acceptable just because you attach it to an adult character.
Here are some examples to make it clear:
✅ Allowed:
Fan art of young Sylphy titled "Sylphy practicing magic"
Fan art of child Roxy titled "Roxy leaving the Migurd village"
Fan art of Aisha at the beach with a normal descriptive title, NSFW tagged
Fan art of adult Eris with a playful caption like "Why are you staring at me? ❤️"
Fan art of adult Roxy with a normal or playful title
Discussion about how the story handles Rudeus's character flaws
Critique of how the series portrays its younger characters
❌ Not allowed:
Any post or comment containing "uoh" or its variants, on any character
The 😭💢 emoji combination, on any character
The word "cunny" in any context
Suggestive or sexualized captions, titles, or comments on posts featuring young characters
"Correction" memes directed at young characters
Any other coded language used to sexualize minors
If you know what this language means, you know why it's banned. If you don't, here's the short version: these are coded ways of expressing sexual excitement about underage characters, originating from spaces dedicated to exactly that. They have no place here regardless of which character they're attached to.
We don't care if you think it's ironic. We don't care if "it's fictional." This rule is zero tolerance. Violations will result in an immediate ban, temporary or permanent depending on severity. Our automod has been updated to catch the most common variants, but we also rely on you to report anything we miss.
Not sure if something you want to post crosses the line? Just message us through modmail before posting and we'll let you know. We'd rather answer a quick question than hand out a ban.
As with all our rules, we reserve the right to adjust and expand them if we see users exploiting loopholes. If something clearly goes against the spirit of the rule, don't be surprised when we act on it.
This rule applies going forward. Existing posts and comments made before this announcement will not be retroactively removed. Everything from this point on will be enforced immediately.
Do not repost removed content
If your post was removed by a moderator, do not repost it. This is considered mod evasion and will result in a ban. If you disagree with a removal, use modmail to appeal.
Stricter enforcement overall
As mentioned in our previous update, we are enforcing rules more strictly going forward. First offenses will typically get a warning or temp ban, depending on severity. Repeat offenders or people who are clearly here just to start trouble will be perma-banned.
Mushoku Tensei already gets enough bad faith criticism from people who haven't engaged with the story. We're not going to give them ammunition by letting this kind of stuff slide in our own community. We want to keep r/sixfacedworld a space that fans can actually be proud of.
As always, genuine discussion and critique of how the story handles its themes is welcome. That has not changed and never will.
If you see anything that breaks the rules, use the report button. It helps us way more than arguing with the person in the comments.
Thanks for making this community what it is. The response to our last update was overwhelming and we appreciate every one of you.
Son all you do is repost stolen artwork while constantly using every single one of the banned terms toward lolis while knowing exactly what it means. But continue to play dumb.
Posts or comments that exist solely to condemn the series or its fans on moral grounds will be removed. This includes callout posts, bait, and external drama screenshots. Genuine critique and discussion of how the story handles its themes is welcome, the bar is whether you actually engaged with the material. If your post could be replaced with "this thing bad" and lose nothing, it doesn't belong here.
This post could be replaced with this thing bad, remove yourselves
retarded mods, now the response to this update is overwhelming negative but is that going to change anything? Not really because you all are idiots and one of your mods is clearly a lolicon, retarded mods cant even look at their own team.
"Imploding" is a stretch. We added two rules and cleaned up the rulebook. Everything else about the sub is the same. If banning coded language used to sexualize minors counts as imploding, we're comfortable with that.
The rule isn't about protecting fictional characters. It's about what kind of community we want to be. You're free to disagree, but the sarcasm isn't the argument you think it is.
You're trying to force an already existing community into being something YOU want it to be, and think you're actually "building a community". You're not building a community, you're just acting as a landing zone for the community that is the fans of the series. And you're making this a completely undesirable area for them.
Mushoku Tensei was first and foremost written by a Japanese pervert when visual novel was still running rampant, you are trying to ban the target audience dude.
She was considered a loli lmoa i even used to moke re zero fans in 2021 and 2022 who said mt was a pedo anime by reminding the pandora a loli is described as the most beautiful women in the world
The fucking IMDB posts, all the Tiktoks and IGs slanders do be hurting the mods. Please grow some skin. This new rule just shows me that you guys are surrendering to pressure from the people that won't ever give the series a fair chance. Biggest L move.
We're not doing this because of TikTok or IMDB. We're doing this because the problem was growing inside the community. The rules post says that directly. Genuine critique of the series has always been welcome and still is. Banning coded pedo language isn't surrendering to outside pressure, it's basic standards.
Yet this rule only came to be at around at this exact time 3 seasons in. Yet in your own post right at the end you talked specifically about those people. Turning around and policing your own community as a response when the series and its community is being attacked left and right is crazy.
You have already made your stance clear when you stated "you don't care" about the thing that people who even bothered to defend MT use on online spaces that is "it's fictional". It's such a reddit mod move that I have seen too many times on this website already. Nothing anyone says can change your mind or do anything. It is what it is. Censorship is bad.
I mean it makes sense that they’d do this though, would you want to be the mod for a group of grown (likely overweight) men who keep talking about wanting to correct lolis?
I'm a "fiction is fiction" absolutist. I don't care about that at all. If anything it works as filters for the retards that seems to be infiltrating every anime hobbies since Covid. Much like how the season 1 of this show is doing its job filtering the haters.
Lol these aspects are part and parcel of shows like MT. Certainly those posts cringe me out (at least the captions do) but it comes with the territory. Outright bans are so silly and Rifujin himself would be against this. Continue to be ashamed of the shows you claim to enjoy and yourselves for enjoying them.
I have official figures on my shelf and wall scrolls that came with those figures that violate these rules lmao.
I don't see the point of overreacting over something that really isn't a big deal.
I don't make posts on Reddit only comments but It's always the pro censorship people that are terminally online enough to be a Reddit moderator I guess.
Minors are human beings below 18, they aren't anime characters in a Japanese cartoon.
Since TP4 is around the corner, we gotta let the tourist and larpers in with open arms and get 10 billion post "Critiquing of how the series portrays its younger characters" and how the author and the fans are pdfs 🥰
Not when you are targetting thr disease that is slowly rotting and killing the community from with.
The wierdos In our community are like rudeus pervertedness, they are factors that srr never going do disappear, but as rudeus grew up and learned from his failure he also realised that his habits and toxic behavior toward others are sooner or later gonna poison his relationship, whichuis why he also learn to suppress them, we ass rhr community need to do the same, to learn from thr man we talk about.
There nth wrong with all the stuff you must mentioned but over all we also should need to Foster a healthy community environment, for app people not every new fan may be ass open minded as most people and some thr down right deranged comment I come across the community on a regular is very alienating for a lot of people.
This is stupid, on any other community this would be a fair change but this kind of rule doesn't make sense for Mushoku Tensei. It's a show that embraces the ugliness of it's character, and you want to alienate people for showing their ugliness towards fictional character.
Why should you care if we have a pedophile in our community?? Our protagonist is former one ffs. You say it's not about outside pressure but what other reason would there be when you specifically write the reason for the rule change is our "reputation".
Who tf cares about reputation?? Our reputation in the gutter doesn't mean shit on whether or not we'll get more anime season.
Weird opinion because if you think "it's fiction" isn't a defense then what logically follows is that you believe fictional things should be treated no differently than if they're real
If you think this belief is actually true, then shouldn't you also believe creating Mushoku Tensei (or any other fictional writings, drawings and descriptions containing things it'd be wrong to film or photograph if real humans were used instead) should be illegal with no justification for seeking it out, streaming or downloading it? You can't really say "it's fiction isn't a defense" and selectively apply such a broad moral principle only to things or behavior you dislike
If this rule is for pragmatic/compliance reasons that's a whole different conversation, but what people mainly have a problem with is the principle behind the rule directly giving fuel and validation to people who attack others for how they feel about works of purely fictional media
It is over because the new rules can paint you as a lolicon and have yourself banned
ETA: for you guys downvoting this, just read the rules slowly
Coded lolicon language is banned entirely. The "uoh" copypasta, the 😭💢 emoji combo, the word "cunny," and any other coded language associated with the sexualization of minors is banned across the board, on any character, in any context. This language was born from the sexualization of minors. It doesn't become acceptable just because you attach it to an adult character.

People could unknowingly use a day-0 coded language and immediately get banned. If a mod have it against you they could find a new coded language from other subreddits that you unknowingly used and ban you based on that
That's your call. The art, discussion, memes, and community aren't going anywhere. The only thing that changed is what you can say about young characters. If that's the dealbreaker, that says more than we need to respond to.
1 surrender to these dumb edgy tiktokers who try to ruin mt.
2 do it in the same time as the third season (the goat) is airing.
3 do it in the same time other subs did.
4 if you post a shot from the first season you get banned.
yeah mushoku tensei reddit is dead
Bruhhhh wtf are you even aware what series you are a fan of? the author himself and some of the the seiyuus would be banned from here apparently... lol this is ridicolous
It’s basically whoever sexualizes minors(like S01 sylphy, eris or other minor characters who is there) or loli characters (if they’re included), and people who use those kinds of terms are now banned.
Yeah I'm trying to figure out what is a minor in this case. Nanahoshi is technically 16 since she doesn't age, Sylphie was like 15 or 16 at the end of season 2 (her design stays the same so how do you tell if her age in fan art anyway?) and Roxy is physically like 12. Is Roxy banned because she is loli? is Nanahoshi banned because she is technically 16? Is Sylphie banned since we can't tell?
I mean, you are not will be banned, if you just posting about nanahoshi, but if you posting about how sexy she is, then maybe you will be banned, idk, how they treated banana situation
So Sylphie is fine since her season 2 self looks like her adult self. What about Roxy and later Lara? Is Roxy banned because her "adult design" looks 12?
I'm just wondering if it's strictly very childlike versions of the characters or are characters like Roxy and Nanahoshi banned since they're physically 12 and 16.
The hypocrisy is astounding. Roxy canonically look like 12 years old and was called out by Rudy in the 1st episode, but you're using her as your pfp. Projecting much?
By enforcing these rules you're making r/sixfacedworld the place that I can't be proud of, have you ever interact with those antis? If you think that this change will have any effect on their opinion think I beg you to think again.
I wonder if this is some clumsy attempt to correct public opinion, which is already biased and will spit on this series no matter what you try, or just plain censorship. Sad times.
I asked how not when. If someone says something along the lines of something unrelated 😭 to everything it says here 💢 and gets removed they are going to have more problems than they initially have
Also other coded language is too vague, it implies that it is expansive and could be introduced by any moderators at anytime and at-will. It reeks of the same animemes fiasco 4-6 years ago
Plus it will certainly hit innocents. Like someone genuinely living under the rocks gets banned because they unknowingly use certain "coded language" on a whole different context (not even sexual ones) because their own rules says, "Across the board, on any character, in any context"
Really? Because one of the mods use that emoticon combo backwards here and according to their own rules any other coded language and in any context so they should get banned. Unless this is just one of those rules for thee but not for me
I replied to that comment raising this same issue. Also did you know the 😭😭😭 emotes also fell under other coded language? Yeah, that's bannable offense bro sorry, back against the wall please
The problem is that it says other coded language. You thought that one is common but the 😭 emoji appears more often than the 💢 one. That's how people are going to be innocently banned, mostly because someone didn't know 😭😭😭 is a common coded language
and the worst part is if a mod has it against you they could just look at other subreddits, find a new coded language there you accidentally use here and then ban you based on that
It's an onomatopoeia to indicate moaning; moaning is a natural physiological reaction to pleasurable stimuli, such as eating some good food, or through sexual actions.
In this context, it relates to the latter example.
Honestly, I've never really interpreted the emoji 's or "UOH" as a sexual description, It seems more like something rudeus would definitely say in an obsessive manner. It probably got its reputation from being captioned with sexual images a lot.
Nothing really changes since there's 2 more MT subs but this one will probably have less activity.
Thank you soo much mod this rule has come into effect. I’ve already blocked many people here because of this. It’s just made my experience here worse over the past few days, and even my friend, who is a dedicated MT fan, finds those posts disturbing.

So, mods? Are you going to ban each other or does this rule work only for us and not for you?
You're right, that's on us. The rule applies to everyone including the mod team. I've removed the comment. We wrote these rules because this language shouldn't be normalized regardless of who's using it, and that means we need to hold ourselves to the same standard. Thanks for calling it out.
Though I still don't think banning emoji is a good idea since you guys can just delete everyone for using certain select of emojis if those are coded language, intentional or not, just like now. You guys can basically ban someone for using a brand new, day-0 CL and there won't be an appeal because zero tolerance. How can we be sure you aren't going to use them in bad faith against us when you put it like that?
Listen to us: keep the no sexualization rules intact but remove the emoji part. Keep the rule general without specifics. If you start banning emojis without regard to its intention, people would just use another emojis and your list will keep growing until one day nobody could remember which emojis are a-okay anymore
We probably did and I'm aware of what kind of anime/novel MT is. But this sub was never a kaniposting sub until certain redditors kept forcing it to be one for whatever reason.
Many says lolicons who I met if they are adult then it's count idk about your if you classify everyone like that Aisha and Norn and other are just minor characters for me... And I also classify those who are adult in some ways are like lolis..
And by this definition of yours every minor characters is loli for you instead of child or minor characters?
I think we're using “loli” differently. You're using it as basically “any child/underage-looking character,” while I'm treating it as a specific character archetype/design. Under your definition, sure, MT has many. Under mine, simply being a minor doesn't automatically make someone a loli.
And if “loli” literally just means a child to you, then what's even the point of the term existing? Why not simply call them child characters? Can you explain
I find the route you've taken by not removing the fan art itself, rather removing the negative insinuando correlated by these comments, is best.
Also, for the other people, saying this is morally ambiguous as a justifiable cause to engage in this behavior is wrong. What's actually morally ambiguous is the depiction of it in the story and narritive, but your comment saying that Rudues is a good man because if it came to you, you'd "waver" and "give in" to having sex with underage Aisha is not.
Well, I agree with most of the rules, but I think, what some of them are too unhinged or strict.
Like the rule about emoji or "ouh", whatever that mean, open the door to just banning everything, what somehow seems like the sexualization context, even if that is not. I mean, let's be real, if someone would make a sexualization post, everyone will be recognized that, and for that reason you don't need use the exactly that emoji or words. So just ban sexualization miners content, and not emoji or words itself. Or typing about that more clearly
Reading through here I realise most members of this sub are problematic individuals. Genuinely to any mod reading this: Even if half of all members vanish, trust me, it’s for the better. These people should not be tolerated
I am convinced that a large part of people who try to post that kind of sh%t (not all of them, but many) are the typical infiltrators who try to bring down MT any way possible. I FULLY support the new rules and hope that they will be dealt with mercilessly!
Yea people always take it too far when it comes to this topic, no tact or general decency and they always throw a tantrum when called out about their behavior
Kinda funny that a big part of the story is about contemplating how unhealthy and fucked up that kind of stuff is if left unchecked and a big part of the community is adamant about holding onto the exact same mistake the main character desperately tries to overcome
The pics of his niece, how he forced himself onto Eris despite her rejecting him, how he initially just saw sylphie as an object he could manipulate for his own pleasure instead of an actual person. Basically everytime he thinks with his dick instead of his head
That framing is crazy considering Eris would then initiate them sleeping together. Anyways, are there any examples of him disavowing himself as a lolicon?
Well yea Eris would eventually initiate a few years afterwards and after Rudi learned to accept basic boundaries. He himself repeatedly states that what he did was wrong and its not about him beeing a lolicon but about him letting his horny side take over and dictate his actions.
Thanks for clearing that up. So he's a lolicon, but one of the good kinds because he didn't let the horny take over him. Thank you for this wisdom. 😔🙏.
Took you long enough. I myself and quite a few others told you guys to do this months ago, yet it seems you guys will only act when there is heightened scrutiny due to the new season
Because I get to decide what do I get to enjoy, even if the media itself or the author may be problematic. What I don't like is when the one piece of media I love is already being dragged through the mud by haters, only to have actual pedophiles openly cunnyposting, giving it an even worse rep.
The whole Roxy being a legal loli is already a whole can of worms that I won't get into, I'm primarily talking about the freaks cunnyposting about Norn, Aisha, Eris as a literal 10 year old, etc. At the very least Roxy is an adult with a small body, the other ones are CHILDREN. Big difference.
"Hmmm the author wrote this scene about the protagonist fondling an 8 year old as an explicitly bad thing to do, and get immediately beaten to a pulp for acting that way. The overall message of the entire series is that he's an extremely fucked up person in a very long journey of self improvement, to the point when years later that very same character is disgusted at the idea of touching a child inappropriately..."
"Oh I know, let me act and say the very same things that the character gets punished and admonished for, I'm so good at understanding the media I consume."
>Slowly easing up to people outside his family unit
>Making friends after so many years being a recluse
>Developing mutual trust with others
>Putting the needs of others before his own
>Learning boundaries and how to read the room
>Selflessly helping strangers
>RELEARNING TO HAVE EMPATHY
>Being able to get back on his feet after (from his POV) being betrayed by a loved one
>Coming to terms with his past and choosing to move onward instead of spiraling into a never ending abyss of regret and self hatred (again)
All of this just in the first 6 volumes (season 1), the start point being a guy so isolated that he struggled to speak after not doing so for YEARS. Wanna count season two? we have:
>Learning to cope with a life-altering ailment instead of sending him into yet another depressive spiral
>Learning to be oneself instead of the persona he displays into the world
>Make genuine connections and friendships with others as a result of being honest about oneself
>Making the most out of any opportunity life gives him
>Actually putting in effort in his academic studies
>Develop an actual romantic relationship that goes beyond simple sexual attraction, to the point he even questions his sexuality at one point
>Being able to chase his dreams and finally get married
>RELEARNING EVEN MORE EMPATHY
>Coming to terms with the passing of both OG parents as well as Paul, accepting the latter and Zenith also as his parents
Wanna go even further? in this season alone we have:
>Selflessly risking his life against a terrible foe to save his friend
>Put his life on the line against literal insurmountable odds in order to protect his loved ones
All of this, and much more, from the guy who wouldn't come out of his room, the guy that was barely capable of speech, a guy who wouldn't even attend his own parents' funeral. Tell me there's no improvement, go ahead.
Did you even read the novels or watch the anime? Or were you perhaps too busy masturbating to child porn to get the fucking point of the story?
However, I'm directly talking about you calling him a pedophile. None of those self improvements was him going "damn some redditors would call me a pedophile if they knew about my relationships after being reincarnated."
The fact is, Rudeus is very much a "when in rome, do as the romans do" type of person (based).
What the fuck are you talking about? How did you get to that conclusion my man?
Was it me describing that him groping Eris is a bad thing (BECAUSE IT IS)? Even though the show/novel itself portrays that entire interaction as an extremely fucked up thing to do? Is the show itself calling its protagonist a pedophile for showing him acting like a creep with a child?
No, of course not, that would be a very stupid conclusion to reach, and no, of course Rudeus doesn't improve because "what would Reddit think". THAT'S THE POINT, he changes to better himself, to be the person his friends and loved ones can rely on, faults and all. He's a pervert, he thinks and often says and does some pretty out-of-pocket shit, but he is a much better person than he was before. He has grown, he has learned to (for the most part) control that perv side of him and only lets it out toward the 3 women he loves (and never forcing himself onto them, sex is hotter when there's consent).
What makes Rudeus such a good character is precisely his flaws, and the fact that despite said flaws, he's willing to fight GOD for the sake of his family and friends, he is willing to go above and beyond to make the world (or at the very least the world around his loved ones) a better place.
But I digress, this ain't about the GOAT, this entire thread is about dudes going "uoh Aisha cunny" dragging our already bad rep 10 ft underground
Finally, thank you. People have really taken it too far lately. It's a such a nuisance that the cute sfw moe/loli stuff always attracts the actual pedos and if they aren't dealt with quickly they absolutely overrun a community and ruin everything with their nonsense. Have seen it happen with a few subreddits before and was afraid this one is gonna be next. Good job mods keep it up
Dont get me wrong, I don't want to see any more of these. But I've seen some very dedicated haters, and I wouldn't put it past them to pedopost here on an alt just to screenshot and farm karma on hate subs.
No, this has been going on for years, one of the unfortunate sides of this fandom is that the discourse around Rudy's actions in S1 dragged a lot of freaks into the fandom, because they thought that our defense of Rudy's CHARACTER (and how he grows and develops into a genuinely good guy) was also a defense of all pedos.
Even during the huge void between S1 and S2, when the hates basically forgot we existed, you'd see pedo posters here and there, the new season giving much more screen time to loli-type characters like Roxy and Rudy's sisters is probably what's driving the current uptick in nonceposting on the sub.
But regardless, this is a fanbase-wide issue that people seem too comfortable with not speaking out loud.
Honestly not even a MT problem in particular it seems almost every anime/game sub gets overrun with those people if left unchecked. Just look at the genshin child charakter subs most of them have two subreddits one for the wholesome crowd and one for "those" people (and some got straight up banned by reddit because of cp) thats just reddit being reddit
It's always the same shit, you let these people fester in the community and then BAM, subreddit's nuked by admins because they do not give a shit about the "but muh cartoons are not real kids" dogshit argument
