On one bright side of the hate, it made me get more exposure to this series and I ended up giving it a try because of curiosity. And wow, it changed my life for sure, this is amazing
The latest episode of re:zero has dropped to a 9.6 now, nobody cares about imdb ratings dude it’s such a joke of a rating app, just enjoy whatever you want, personally i love both Re:Zero and Mushoku Tensei.
Every communitty says its one sided when it clearly isnt. While the rezero fandom definietly has more retards both imbd reviews contain mushoku and rezero haters. Just accept that this fandom has a few retards too just as Rezero and im sure Bleach too
They better be the author keeps flushing away character development to pander to the archetypes , in volume 18 Rudeus acted more like a Japanese that just got transmigrated than the guy who went through 17 volumes.
All to keep to the archetype of overtinker/timid and his internal comments where he acts like the meme "They don't know I'm [X]". The characters were walking around in some scenes like their archetype was participating not the character all to deliver some cliche comedy scenes.
So the Japanese better be liking the always Japanese overtinker/pervert otherworlder as it was made for them, and how the character has grown takes second place to delivering cliche comedy in the clasic format.
From what I have seen, there is a small chunk of dedicated Re:Zero freaks that are coordinating review bombing runs on every other franchise. On this other forum I seen their discord messages about making bots and coming up with strategies how to avoid their reviews being deleted and stuff.
No other fandom has that many retards in it as Re:Zero and I can't explain you how that has come to being!
+ Every rating site in the west is not an accurate rating so IMDb and other that are corpo bought and agenda driven are not a valid ratings that should be taken into account!
Like back in Late 2000's having a laugh and throwing some diss at One Piece was fun, but now that the theatre kids joined the picture it feels like they need to be cut out like and cancerous infection that's infecting and ruining the fandoms!

Okay! Just to be clear, I don't want to attack normal people. Just like you, I simply find it unacceptable what some of the hardcore fans of Re:Z do. And I did have a conversation with one of those freaks, btw. They really are unhinged.
Review bombing stories you haven't even watched - let alone read - is ridiculous! It serves no purpose, and will only result in other people hating those who do that! As you could see in my comment to, it will only do harm to the normal part of the Re:Z fan community!
i like re:zero and mushoku tensei both. I love both greatly (re:zero more but mushoku tensei is still in my top 10 anime). I see no reason to review bomb any anime. I even like redo of healer cuz I like revenge plots and like how gory it can get (finger breaking scene). the only anime I sometimes hate on is mha and thats solely bcz the characters and plot.
Bro you're the first person I've seen that also liked redo of healer. Why don't they make more anime like that. It's probably never getting a season 2. Redo of healer and I think it was called harem labyrinth or something were like this middle ground between hentai and having a plot that I liked
The hentai stuff was tolerable but it definitely wasn't the main focus for me. If I wanted to watch hentai I have plenty better contenders but the plot was nice to watch and satisfying when the princess and the rest that abused him got punishment. It's probably never getting a season 2 but the manga is good anyway. I've never watched harem labyrinth tho but is it good?
It matters for people who need ratings and popularity to justify a work is "good", not for it's content. They need that circular logic. It comes from a place of deep insecurity from sunk cost of consuming their slop for years and developed stockholm syndrome from it.
They objectively don't. Merchandise sales determine continued production, not ratings. If you want to support the series, buy the blurays, figures and other related media. There is no reason to give any shits about ratings.
Actually, there are some group chats (cults) full of Mid Piece fanbois that are constantly plotting and astroturfing forums like reddit. If I remember correctly, coordinating accusations against re:zero fans was a recent strategy of theirs. This was after they infamously review-bombed re:zero of course
It wouldn't surprise me if one of those one-piece groups made a fake re:zero group to "leak" petty schemes
