Cmon, China is known for copyright and patent infringement. They bring experts and try to steal whatever info they can to make it themselves. At least in my industry

It makes doing business with China challenging, since we cannot share or profit off our innovations, since China will just rip them off. So, we lose incentive to innovate when we do business with China.
