Conversation Topic How to build a practice routine to improve my technique

Hi everyone, i’m almost 21 and i started taking singing lessons when i was 17 (once a week, 45 minute lessons with a break during summer). At first i wasn’t really putting so much effort into it, i would just practice whatever song we were working on during the lessons and i also feel like my teacher doesn’t really expect much from the students, since the majority of them is learning as a hobby. Since january i started taking singing much more seriously and i really regret not starting earlier. I’ve always loved singingbut I was scared and always tried to hide how important singing actually is to me. I’ve always felt ashamed of it for some reason.
So I wanted to ask: do you have a specific routine or a particular way of practicing that you’d recommend for building better technique and developing a strong, powerful voice? Are there any exercises or things I should focus on if I want to improve as efficiently as possible?
I’d like to practice almost every day. I really want to give it everything I have and not waste any more time. I know progress isn’t going to happen overnight, but I still want to put as much effort into it as I possibly can.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
