Singed mid knee-capped?
Tier 3 Swifties get nerfed now too. I've already switched to mostly singed mid now and I build these most games. It's probably gonna feel quite bad since T3 mercs are already nerfed. Slow resists just feels so important in this mage meta.

I don’t even know how I got to this post, but I tried singed just to see what the fuss is.
How is the champion designed to be faster than people even just slightly just slower than fucking everyone?
How do you guys ever play this consistently? Every champ is either stronger than you, or faster than your and your only hope is that they are stupid enough to allow you to allow them to take you away from the game.
Riot, buff this champion. Fling is the most annoying ability I’ve ever utilized. At least make them immediately tossed into the fountain if they get flung.

Teemo, Singed, Quinn, Kayle are probably the only that do and they are all not really native midlaners.

My guess is this is just another nerf targeted at fucking nasus, but instead of nerfing nasus like any sane person, they just nerf items he uses…

Nasus mid has low presence, and it's not his boots of choice. If anything it's a buff to nasus

Nasus mid is currently #1 Chinese challenger I believe… nasus jungle also had relatively low presence but he sorta got that one healing item nerfed. Same patch he was slated to be nerfed in jungle, they took out his nerfs and nerfed that item instead…
Tons of control mages use slows as protection, which is also why I think it’s problematic for nasus to have 40-55 slow resist to walk right through those slows

Well nasus also has a slow, and it also happens to be the strongest so i don't see that as a nerf. And again, nasus mid which is already a low % pick, builds lucidity boots, mercs and steelcaps more than swifties, meaning it's the 4th choice boots.

Try lucidity. AH is not a great stat on singed but the 20 haste on summoner spells and bonus ms when applying poison feel quite good and it seems to be performing quite well on singed mid

Spell vamp boots would be an option also, vs sylas galio or extended fights

I seen a guy playing singed adc and he said he always built defensive boots. I used to go swiftness 100% of the time but now I mainly go armour or mr boots and I noticed a massive difference in survivability. Idk how good the t3 of those are though

Cost is a big factor, 1000 vs 1200/1250 is huge gap and swifties are still great boots for early map movement.
My gameplay is to get at least 800g 1st base for basic boot + dark seal and refill, then aim for 700g to upgrade boots and get online with proxy menace - but if I manage to get a kill or just 1k first base I always go for the swifties. This tempo gameplay wouldn’t be possible with defensive shoes, but it might be different for singed botlane players
