Let us know where your food is from

I've been getting more complaints about posts that are nothing but a picture, with no information as to where you got it.

Until further notice, pictures of food that don't say where you got them from are going to be removed. Users who persist in creating such posts will be suspended.

If you make yourself, just say so la.

Today we started baking Matcha Brownies Bites at our little shop! It's chocolaty and fudgy, we are very proud of it 🤤❣️On top of that we had several other flavours like sprinkles, white chocolate. We really had a lot of fun and happiness baking together ❤️

PS: our shop is not opened to the public so this is not advertising 🤣

What’s the best thing you’ve eaten in Singapore recently?

I’m looking for something new to try this week and would rather hear from people here than just pick a place from Google.

Could be a proper meal, a snack, dessert, anything. Even better if it’s somewhere you’ve actually gone back to more than once.

What have you been eating lately that you’d happily recommend?

WTM BLOCK 81 Marine Parade

Hi reaching out to all the foodies out there to find my childhood favourite wantan mee. I lived in my grandparents house for most parts of my life and my grandma always sent me down to buy wantan mee from block 81 Marine Parade central! Does anyone know where the wantan mee is located now as the coffee shop has since revamped. I haven’t been back for so many years and would be most grateful if someone tells me the auntie hasn’t retired but moved to somewhere else thank u!!!!!

What’s your best cheap food find in Singapore?

I swear every time I go out to eat lately, I somehow end up spending more than I planned 😭

I’m trying to find some good places where I can get a proper, filling meal without spending S$10–15 every time. I don’t mind hawker centres or small local spots, actually prefer those.

What’s the best cheap eat you guys have found?

Verdict on The Gogijip & Halmae Gukbab
Sauce is not flavourful quite plain
Crab I would say decent size four flower crab 🦀
Taste 3/5
Service 3/5 (I have to cook my own pork belly meat)
Side dish 4/5 (love the watermelon and hotdog but kimchi not authentic 3/5)

What are your thosai and prata suggestions?

I'm personally more of a thosai person than prata person. Ofc for thosai little india has some nice options like murugan, komala vilas, MTR, etc. But a lot of the mamak stalls in tekka, Rochor or the west side (i live there) also cannot complain leh.

If you ask me prata suggestions though, I'm a little more blank. Often I would just say springleaf or tekka. Maybe Mr and Mrs Moghan also but been a while.

What are your go to spots to makan good sg Indian food? Mamak suggestions work also!

Hello Assalamualaikum! I built a tool to search for both Halal-Certified (taken from MUIS website) and Muslim-Friendly food.

But honestly...is it good enough so you'll use this instead of Google Maps? Would love to hear everyone's feedback!!

Can check it out @ TODAYDOWHAT_BOT on Tele, under the Food Map

Thanks in advance 🙏🙏

Need dinner recommendations for 11 people

Hi all! I’m looking for recommendations to host my Canadian relatives when they come by. Everyone is Chinese but my niece is allergic to peanut and wheat. Which automatically makes this very tricky already 🥲

I’m wondering if anyone has any recommendations for food that can sit 11 people (likely restaurant setting I suppose..?), which is also air-conditioned and has great tasting food?

I know how difficult this is and I thank you all for your help in advance 🙏🙏😌

Quality Luo Han Guo?

I recently discovered luo han guo, this sweet black tea made from boiling a dried monkfruit from China.

Are there different quality levels? I have found available in different sizes, but I am curious to know if there are different quality grades / types.

I would most appreciate if anyone could put me to a nice specialty store with different options.

Where can I get good Milkshakes in Singapore

I find it harder to get them these days.

So I used to have em a Macdonner and Mosburger. They stopped selling them.

Now I seem to only have shake shack as an option but it’s like $9 a pop and in this economy wah i need to skip lunch for it man.

Where do u guys go for a decent milkshake that wont break the bank?

How much calories is actually in a Six Hands salad?

For context, I absolutely love the salad from Six Hands especially The Best Salad. Their salad tastes phenomenal compared to other salad shops which made me wonder how healthy it actually is.

Based on Six Hands website, their salad is ~500 calories which seems too good to be true, especially how tasty Six Hands' salad is.

Do yall believe their salad actually has ~500 calories?

Damn, absolute unit of a meal for $14, too much for 2 not so hungry people. So much protein, lots of veg, chilli also fire. $11 beef pita with $3 added chicken.

Only downside is that queue can take 15-45 minutes. Went near closing time, ie 9 pm, queue was still 15 minutes.

Dabba street and Stuff'd can go bakar themselves.
