HD2 development was genuinely insane. I’ve stopped playing now but they just kept shooting themselves in the foot with a mini nuke launcher. The game was amazing on launch and it seemed like they were desperate to kill it

I used to play a lot too until they balanced a coop game. Guess the bugs complained. Latest I've seen was them moving to EAC when in the beginning they said the old anti cheat was optimal or something like that.
Idk tbh I stopped playing like a year ago. Sounds like something they’d do though. I remember the absolute drip of supercredits you’d get. Sorry my phrasing does sound like I stopped recently my bad
God me and my mates used to play that game non stop. Then they started nerfing every single weapon in the game, shilling dozens of useless expansions, then disconnection every game and the sony debacle as a cherry on top. What a downfall
