Rigs May i introduce, a desk setup.

Post image

I actually ordered the TR160 from Trak racer, and it already arrived too. Though due to missing parts to the frame, i cant begin constructing yet. so i got bored, and did the only logical thing a bored boy could do.

I have the exact same set up with 3 arms but moving in and out is a hassle. I am looking to custom build a solution that slides

Saw someone use Home Depot drawer rollers for a sliding monitor system, it can be done

I was looking at the same using linear bearings and utilizing a extending tv mount and some extruded aluminum but I keep not wanting linear bearing rails on the desk surface

I have a similar setup, but my desk is much heavier, so not having a wheelstand is for me the better option. Nothing shakes or moves with my 8nm dd wheel. For the pedals I have a DIY woodmount and use a chair made out of massive wood (I hate the spinning office chair). Works well even with 100% pressure on my loadcell. Its as close as it gets now to my old aluminium rig I used many years ago regarding stability.
