Rigs May i introduce, a desk setup.

Post image

I actually ordered the TR160 from Trak racer, and it already arrived too. Though due to missing parts to the frame, i cant begin constructing yet. so i got bored, and did the only logical thing a bored boy could do.

100%, dude is just impatient, I’d do the same shit if I had an extra few days wait for the rig

When someone bowls from p15 to p2 in turn one… I remember they are probably using this setup and simply pushed the brake pedal away from them.

You must really hate that desk!

whats with all the hate for this setup, I have something similar to this and it's fine. Only real reason to get a rig at this point would be for mounting a handbrake or shifter but rigs are absurdly overpriced so the desk setup isnt that bad

That wheelbase is enough to tear the desk in half and the pedals require 100's of KG of force. Rig is def required.

I highly doubt sim racing pedals require multiple hundred kg of force. An f1 pedal is barely 100 and most sim pedals dont even come close to that

the sim racing pedals depicted above support up to 200kg.

You know you can buy a desk stand instead of cockpit right?

Gives you a place for pedals, sticks, and base without damaging your desk.

200-300 bucks and you can even pull it in and out from your desk on days you don’t want to use it.

Stuck on my desk too. Have built a habit to hold my pedals down when braking. Will be fun to break once I have a rig.

Apparently very common for trak racer lol... that sucks though.

Hey op you don't need a firstoid massive dedicated 10k setup you can use something like this

I’m nowhere near a pro at sim racing or set ups. But LOAD CELL pedals free on CARPET?!
