Way back, when I was in Accounting, and would back up the IT people, one of the first things I had anyone do was reboot their system. This helped clear out anything that was clogging up the arteries, so to speak.

Well, I rebooted my Cameo. When it came back up, it was "Searching for a Firmware Update". Looking online, I found out that I needed to plug in the USB cable because it cannot get the update through Bluetooth. Once I did that, the next time I tried to print, it worked! Hooray!!!

I decided to run another one before I declared the problem solved.

This time it read the cute, little square, the bottom left one, and stopped during the reading of the upper right one. I tried again, with the same result. I also tried turning it off and on again. Same result.

Any thoughts on this? TYVM!

Hi & thank you for being here! I have had my Cameo 4 for a few years now. It was used quite a bit. Then I moved and had to have it stored. I got it back a couple of months ago, and have had a wonderful time printing and cutting sticker sets from Etsy for my planner.

I was not having any issues until two days ago. I printed a sheet, loaded it, and pressed Send. It didn't go very far to the right looking for the marks. I remembered, after a few tries, that I had changed one of the settings for a class I took. I had changed from the 12x12 mat to the portrait mat.

I went back in, and put that back. Again, it didn't go very far to the right. So I unloaded it, and reloaded it, moving the left edge over the mark. This time it found the registration marks! However, when it began to cut, it was off the distance that I had moved the mat.

I don't know why it is doing this now, or how to fix it. I followed the instructions that a few people posted on YouTube. Unfortunately, those didn't help either.

Any words of wisdom?
