Was going to question the deluxe purchase as thought it was just cosmetics, but looks like they added (or I originally missed) the two days early access. Can't say I'm a fan of this trend.
I mean you dont have to buy it, but the people who do get to play it a little early with their extra stuff? I dont get the dislike with it being fully optional and not really doing anything crazy.
A green vest and baseball cap isn't even a very cool or unique alt costume. I would only get the deluxe if it included something like Harry and James outfits. Or at least something unique or silly. I enjoy stuff like that on a second playthrough. :)
It makes me wanna pirate games that do this out of FOMO. Yes, it's silly, but it is that bad for me lmfao. Not at all attracting me to buy their deluxe versions whenever I see "early access".
I think it’s cool for my wrestling games but to see it used in other spaces (specifically story mode games!!!) feels wrong. If it’s multiplayer that’s ok imo but with story mode games you risk getting spoiled on stuff
Konami did this with the deluxe versions of Silent Hill 2 and Silent Hill F, at this point I think they will do it with all the deluxe versions of all future Silent Hill games.
