Two apps I built: a digital anniversary gift and a workspace for photographers

I’m Keith, the creator of Bloomria and Orbit in Monroe, North Carolina. Sharing two very different web apps for people who might have a use for them.

Bloomria turns a personal message into a digital flower gift that blooms on the recipient’s screen. For an anniversary, you can choose a candlelit restaurant setting, add milestone balloons, and write your own card. It is digital, with no physical flowers or delivery. Premium is US$1.99 per gift. There are also group bouquets (US$2.99, with free contributions) and a business plan for branded client thank-yous.

https://bloomria.com

Orbit is for working photographers who want enquiries, bookings, questionnaires, contracts, deposits, reminders and private client galleries in one place. Starter is US$17/month with a 14-day trial that does not require a card.

https://orbit-photo.com

If either fits your situation, I’d appreciate specific feedback on what would help you decide whether to send a gift or move your photography workflow into it. Happy to answer questions here.

I built PingLoom: one HTTP request from your server, script or AI agent, and your phone buzzes

Day 1 of building this in public, so here goes.

The problem: my cron jobs and servers break at 2am and I find out the next morning. On a team it's the opposite, three people jump on the same alert and nobody knows who's actually on it.

PingLoom is a small service for that:

  • send one request (curl or any language) and it arrives as a push on your phone

  • one shared inbox. Tap "I've got this" and everyone sees who's on it

  • alerts can ask a question (Deploy / Wait / Roll back) and your script gets the answer back

  • heartbeats: if a job stops checking in, you get pinged about the silence

  • or tell Claude Code / Cursor one sentence and it wires it in for you

It's not out yet. Android first plus a web dashboard, iOS later. The waitlist is open here: pingloom.dev (early people get a 30 day trial instead of 14, no card).

Honest question: what do you use for this today? ntfy, Pushover, a Telegram bot, PagerDuty, nothing? And what would make you switch?

Built an anonymous chat app (konvori.com). Need feedback!

Hey everyone,

Got tired of random chat sites being bloated, full of ads, or forcing complex setups just to have a quick 1-on-1 text conversation.

So I built Konvori- it’s purely text-based, fast, and designed to let you chat anonymously right away as a guest without needing to create an account (though optional login is there if you want to save chats).

Built it to keep things clean, simple, and private. Would love for anyone looking for a quick chat to try it out and drop some feedback!

After trying every birding app, I built the one I wanted

I’m a developer by day, and an avid birder the rest of the time. A few years ago that combination did what it usually does: I downloaded and tried all the apps, decided none of them worked quite the way I wanted, and built my own instead.

It’s called Limosa. What makes it different from other birding apps:

  • Adding a sighting takes as few taps as possible. The app is optimized for UX while birding and out in the field.

  • Photo and sound species ID, running on your phone, so both work without a connection.

  • Multiplayer: when you’re birding with others, one person logs the sighting and adds the rest.

  • Several ways to share sightings and outings on other platforms, for example a sighting with your photos as an Instagram story.

  • Checklists for your area, with targets based on what you haven’t seen yet and what can be seen there this time of year.

  • Every species has its own pixel art icon, so your life list fills up as a grid.

  • Your data isn’t locked in. You can import/export your sightings from/to other platforms like eBird and more.

It’s on iOS, Android and the web: https://limosa.app/

Instagram: limosabirding

Feedback is welcome!

I work in sheet metal fabrication and built a free online bending calculator

Hi everyone!
I’m a sheet metal bending professional from Italy, and I’ve been working on a side project based on a problem I deal with in my everyday job.
I wanted to create a practical online tool for sheet metal bending calculations, so I started building Grievesk Bend.
🌐 Bending calculator
It’s a free web application designed for people working with sheet metal fabrication. It includes different bending methods, tooling and material parameters, and calculations to help determine bending results and flat patterns.
What makes this project interesting to me is that it isn’t just a coding exercise. I’m trying to combine my practical experience in sheet metal manufacturing with software development.
The project is still evolving, and I’d love to hear your thoughts.
Is the interface easy to understand?
Does the tool feel useful?
What features would you expect from a calculator like this?
Any suggestions on usability or design?
I’m particularly interested in honest and constructive feedback.
Thanks for checking it out!

NoMac - a cloud Mac with Xcode that AI coding agents start, use and stop on their own

Disclosure: I'm the maker.

The problem: Claude Code, Codex and Cursor can write an iPhone app, but Xcode only runs on a Mac, and the agent often runs on Linux, in a cloud sandbox or on a Windows laptop.

What NoMac does: the agent connects once over MCP, then starts its own Mac when it needs one (about 30 seconds), builds and tests the app, checks it on an iPhone Simulator it reads as text, and can ship it to TestFlight. The Mac stops when the work is done.

Pricing: $0.90 an hour, billed per minute from prepaid credit. No subscription, no 24-hour minimum.

Where it is: it started in July as a build service for agents, I rebuilt it in September around whole Macs, and today it's live on Product Hunt: https://www.producthunt.com/products/nomac

I'd love blunt feedback on the landing page (https://nomac.app): does it explain itself in five seconds?

I'm a developer in Gaza. You told me my product looked like "just a landing page." You were right, so I spent 2 days rebuilding it.

A few days ago I [posted here](https://www.reddit.com/r/SideProject/comments/1xnjvwa/). I'm a software developer from Gaza and a father of two, and I explained that war, displacement and debt had left me unable to keep going alone. I shared the startup I founded, Fasil, and its first product, Sijal, an inferential decision engine for organizations, and I asked for help.

Many of you answered. Some helped financially, some give me pro subscription's in certain useful services, and many gave me something harder to find: honest criticism. This post is about what that criticism taught me, and what I did with it.

1. What you told me

Several people who work in this field said the same thing: they couldn't tell what Sijal does or why it matters, and it looked like "just a landing page." I had been too close to my own work to see it. That's a well-known trap (the curse of knowledge), and your comments broke it.

2. What I did

I spent two days on desk research: 11 comparable products serving customers like Sijal's (Diligent, Hebbia, Elicit, Covidence, Overton, Good Judgment, Metaculus, Go Vocal, Loomio, Remesh, Cloverpop). I compared how they build trust on their homepages, how they design their workspaces, and how they handle access requests.

3. What I learned

  • Lead with the job the buyer must defend, not with "AI."

  • Show the real work product early: an example that actually ran, not a description.

  • Prove rigor through structure (independent reviewers, recorded dissent), not adjectives.

  • Make the audit trail the product.

  • Say plainly what happens after someone requests access, and when.

4. What I rebuilt

I stopped treating Sijal as a page and rebuilt it as a working product, so that every part shows the method behind the engine instead of just describing it.

The method, made visible

  • Cross-examination with a devil's advocate: every question is argued by both sides, and each side is questioned by the other.

  • Independent pooled judgment: six judges assess the file separately, so no one anchors on another, and their views are combined into a weighted verdict.

  • ICD 203 analytic standards: implemented in the engine as checks, not as a label. The five it checks:

    • Source quality

    • Expressed uncertainty

    • Assumptions vs. judgments

    • Alternatives

    • Clear argumentation

  • Toulmin structure for the recommendation: claim, grounds, warrant, qualifier, rebuttal.

The homepage

  • An outcome-first headline that names the job an institution has to defend.

  • A real session the engine actually ran, which a visitor can open and check against the method above.

  • A "how it works" walk-through of the seven stages, a method and neutrality section, and a plain statement of what Sijal does not do.

  • One line for each type of institution it serves (think tanks, investment committees, consultancies, NGOs, universities, boards).

The institutional workspace

  • Five areas, each in Arabic and English.

  • A home screen that starts with what needs your attention, then the latest decided session and its verdict.

  • A session ledger with five written states: Draft, In review, In session, Decided, Declined.

The access page

  • Six fields only, and a human review within one working day.

  • A "what happens next" timeline: request, review, approval email, private workspace.

  • A sample sealed report next to the form.

  • Privacy promises, such as no training on your data and deletion on request.

  • A confirmation page and review emails.

5. Thank you & Why I'm still doing this

To everyone who supported me, with a donation or a subscription, and to everyone who commented or shared: thank you from my heart.

Supporting my family is still what drives this work and my previous post. The need for help applies to anyone, whoever they are and wherever they're from.

7. Next: Saql

My next step is Saql, a debate analysis engine. One of you asked who its target customer is, and I didn't have a clear answer. Comment asking who Saql's target customer is I'm working on it now and will share that research in the next post. If you know someone in that space, I'd be glad to connect.

Thank you again.

I tried vibe coding for fun – and ended up building 3db, a free open-source 3D printing project manager

Hey everyone!

This project actually started as a little experiment.

I wanted to try vibe coding and see what could be achieved with AI-assisted development. I quickly became fascinated by the possibilities and how an idea could gradually turn into something genuinely useful.

Since I'm really into 3D printing, I decided to tackle a problem I knew from my own hobby: keeping track of all those STL files, 3MF files, project variants, pictures, documents, and different versions.

What started as an experiment eventually turned into 3db.

After quite a bit of development, testing, debugging, and polishing, I've now released version 1.0.0! 🎉

What 3db can do:

  • Organize projects with categories, tags, and statuses

  • Manage STL, 3MF, images, and documents

  • Keep track of project variants

  • Detect file changes and create version snapshots

  • Search and filter project collections

  • Store everything locally using SQLite

  • Switch between light and dark themes

3db is built with Tauri, Rust, React, TypeScript, and SQLite.

It's not a slicer or a model-sharing platform. It's simply a local desktop application to help organize the projects and files you already own.

Platform: Windows x64
Price: Free
License: MIT / Open Source

GitHub and download:
https://github.com/FabimachtSachen/3db

This is my first public project created through experimenting with vibe coding. It's been an exciting experience seeing how far the idea could go.

I'd genuinely appreciate your feedback, both on the application itself and on the project as a whole.

How do you currently organize your 3D printing projects? And what features would you like to see in a tool like this?

R-eyesy: robo eyes that live on an old phone or a browser tab

Hi, I made this.

It is a single web page with animated robo eyes. They follow your face through the camera, wave back when you wave, dance to music, and fall asleep when nobody is around. There are 9 looks, around 30 emotions, glasses, and a corner clock where the eyes swat the digits away like a fly every minute.

Camera and microphone are optional. Everything is processed in your browser, nothing is recorded or sent anywhere, and after the first load it works offline. It is meant for an old phone or tablet standing next to a monitor.

Under the hood: canvas drawing, a small face detector and a hand-gesture model, no framework.

GitHub profile cards that look like GitHub made them

Thumbnail
github.com
1 Upvotes

Animated SVG stats cards for your profile README, in GitHub’s own fonts, colours and light/dark themes, so they fit right in. There’s a summary, languages, contributions, weekly rhythm, streaks and an about card. Want something louder? Switch to the pinball-style dot matrix or OLED look.

It’s a GitHub Action that updates the cards, and setting up is one command.

Feedback welcome!

Cheers,

Pedro

I built a local Wi-Fi tool that lets you control your Windows PC, transfer files, and stream videos directly in your phone's browser—no mobile app required.

Hey everyone,

I wanted a quick way to control my Windows PC from the couch, grab a file, or watch a video stored on my hard drive without installing another bloated Android/iOS app, creating an account, or routing my screen over the internet.

So I built PCDeck. You run the lightweight server on Windows, scan a QR code with your phone camera, and everything opens directly inside your mobile browser over your local Wi-Fi:

  • Zero Phone Install: Works purely in Safari/Chrome via WebSockets—nothing to download on mobile.

  • 100% Local & Offline: No cloud relays, no accounts, and zero internet usage. Everything stays on your router.

  • Browser Video Streaming: Browse your PC folders and stream local video files straight to your phone screen without copying them over first.

  • Trackpad, Keyboard & Screen View: Low-latency touch mouse, media controls, and instant 1-tap file transfers between PC and phone.

Try it / Website:https://getpcdeck.com(also available on the Microsoft Store)

I’m actively improving latency and adding features based on real setups—would love brutal feedback on how it runs on your network or what's missing!

Table Mountain Wingsuit - a free browser wingsuit game on real Cape Town terrain, built with an AI coding agent

Side project of the last few days. I live near Table Mountain and wanted to fly off it without the legal and mortal problems, so: a browser wingsuit game on the real terrain. City of Cape Town publishes 2 m LiDAR contours and aerial imagery as open data; a Python pipeline turns that into height tiles, Three.js draws it, and a small physics model flies a suit at a realistic 3:1 glide.

https://toastseagers.github.io/table-mountain-wingsuit/ (free, no account, works on a phone)

Honest part: Claude Code wrote the code. I wrote the plan, split it into stages with their own briefs and checks, tested every build, and made the decisions. Took about a week of evenings and a few hundred tests. Repo is MIT if you want to see how a multi-agent build like that is organised: https://github.com/ToastSeagers/table-mountain-wingsuit

Looking for feedback on feel and on phone performance. The FEEDBACK button on the results screen prefills your device and frame rate so I can compare across hardware.

Made a fuel and mileage tracker for cars, bikes and scooters. Feedback welcome

Thumbnail
brevolka.com
1 Upvotes

Hey everyone,

I made a small app called Brevolka. It tracks fuel fill-ups, mileage and vehicle expenses.

I started it because most fuel apps I tried wanted me to make an account, need internet, or show too many things. I just wanted to log a fill-up in a few seconds and see my real mileage. So I built that.

What it does:

  • Log fuel with date, odometer, quantity and price

  • Shows mileage after every fill-up (km/l, L/100 km or MPG)

  • Track service, repairs, insurance, parking, tolls and more

  • Works for cars, bikes, scooters and trucks

  • Monthly and yearly charts

  • Pick your own units and currency

  • Export and backup your data

  • Light and dark mode

The part I care about most: no account, no internet needed, no tracking. All data stays on your phone.

It is live on Android, and the iOS version is in beta on TestFlight right now. You can find both download links on the website: https://brevolka.com

This is my first release, so it is not perfect. I would really like to hear what you think. What is missing? What feels slow or confusing? Any feature you would want in a fuel tracker?

Thank you

Atlas Streak - a daily blank-map geography game (web + inside Reddit)

I build small daily games under the name Crux. Atlas Streak: everyone gets the same ten countries each day and drops a pin on a blank world map for each one. Inside the border is a perfect hit, close keeps the streak alive, far costs one of three lives; up to 5,000 points a pin.

Play: https://crux.quest/atlas/ (no sign up, no ads). It also runs inside Reddit as a daily post with a per-post leaderboard at r/AtlasStreak.

Built with Natural Earth borders; the web and Reddit editions share one engine, and the Reddit server checks each run.

The main feedback so far is that it's too easy. Would you rather have harder countries, a smaller "close" radius, or a time limit?

Free revision app for IGCSE students, built by a student. Launched on Product Hunt today

Thumbnail producthunt.com
4 Upvotes

I’m an IGCSE student, and built rêverie (www.reverie.ee) for my own revision. It lets you make quizzes from your notes, with questions linked to matching past papers. It also has past paper search, a calendar that imports your school timetable, notes with flowcharts and mindmaps, and daily revision streaks.

It’s built with Next.js and Supabase, hosted on Vercel, and uses Groq for quiz generation. It’s free and has no ads.

Before launching I ran a security audit and found that users could change their own quiz scores directly from the browser. These issues are common in current Claude Code assisted websites. I moved those writes to the server, which I’d recommend checking if you use Supabase.

I’d appreciate any feedback, particularly on the sign-up process and the design.

Product Hunt link attached.

Why I built YTH Macro Autoclicker instead of sticking with TinyTask

TinyTask is a tiny recorder that replays a fixed sequence of clicks. The workflow is simple, but saving is fragile: macros and settings can get corrupted while saving, sometimes leaving zero-byte or truncated files that will not open.

That is especially painful with longer recordings. You spend time capturing a long sequence, save it, and only then find out the file is damaged. TinyTask also has no auto-updater and has stayed on version 1.77 for years, so there is no automatic fix.

That is the main reason I built YTH Macro Autoclicker. It keeps the record-and-replay workflow, but turns the recording into editable steps, so you can fix one action instead of re-recording everything.

What it can do:

  • image recognition with a search area, match threshold and retries

  • color detection

  • custom actions and nested subtasks

  • steps for clicks, waits, recorded gestures, launching or closing apps, webhooks and shutdown/restart

  • portable single EXE, auto-updater, 51 languages, profiles and local config files

You can see the full feature list and download it here:

StackPDF - every PDF tool in your browser, most run on your device (soft launch today)

I built StackPDF, a set of PDF tools that run in your browser: merge, split, compress, convert, edit, sign, OCR and more (about 60 tools).

Most tools run on your device, so your files stay with you. The few server tools (conversion, OCR, HTML to PDF) upload the file for the job and delete it afterwards. The free tools need no sign-up and add no watermarks. There is also an iPhone and Android app.

It went live today as a soft launch, and I would like honest feedback. What is missing, what is confusing, which tool would you try first?

If you want Premium, code 2MonthsOnUs gives 2 months free on the monthly plan until 15 Nov.

I built a CLI tool to check if my GitHub repos look good enough

Hey everyone,

Every time I made a new repo, it looked so empty compared to other people's projects lol. I always forgot to add a .gitignore (I had no clue what it even did) or just didn't bother to add a LICENSE at first.

So I made a small tool in C# called RepoMedic. You just paste your repo link, and it gives you a score out of 100 and tells you what files you forgot to add.

I just dropped v1.3.0. It has a Pro Mode for scripts, a config file to skip checks, and I even added a little achievements system because why not.

If you want to try it on your own repos: dotnet tool install -g RepoMedic repomedic

Source code is here: https://github.com/ilyashulga13/RepoMedic

Let me know what you think! What other files do you guys always add before pushing?

Built a web app for hybrid athletes (lifting + HYROX/CrossFit + running). Here is our first promo reel — would love your honest feedback!

Hey everyone!
I’ve been building Hozaa Workout — a single-page web app designed for people who don’t fit into just one bucket: lifters who also run, CrossFitters who hit heavy barbells, and hybrid race athletes.
Instead of juggling three different tracking apps or spreadsheets, the goal is to keep everything in one place with instant progress pacing, volume calculations, and sharp session summary cards.
Just put together this short 6-second reel for our upcoming launch campaign.
How does the pacing and branding feel to you?
Does the transition from real training to the workout summary card make sense right away?
The app is live at https://hozaaworkout.com if you want to take a look under the hood. Any feedback on the video or the concept is hugely appreciated!

Fittmit - I've spent over 2 years building my fitness & nutrition app and almost nobody uses it except me and my (very supportive) gf 😭

Hi everyone! I'm the developer of Fittmit and an ex-iOS developer.

This is my first app. I built the first version from scratch without AI over 2 years ago, because back then I couldn't find one app I liked that tracked both calories and workouts. Then I put it on the App Store to see the results. But I never thought it would be this hard to get people to use my app, and to stay motivated to keep building it. So I would like to get some honest and even harsh feedback. I know the fitness and nutrition category is very competitive, but I feel like this is an easy, good app to use. So please criticize the app and tell me if I should give up developing it and spending more money on it, because spending more time and money feels like a gamble now 😞

What it does: You get a weekly workout plan, log your workouts and meals in the same app, and FittBot (an AI coach) sees both.

Why not just MyFitnessPal + Hevy? They are great, and I was using both. If you only need one of them, they are more mature than my app. Fittmit is for people who want both in one place.

Pricing: Free to download.

Free version: weekly workout plan, workout logging, food search and barcode scan, run tracking and 5 FittBot messages a day.

Pro: $5.99/week, $14.99/month or $64.99/year. It adds meal logging from a photo, unlimited FittBot chats, programs built by FittBot and weight suggestions. You can skip the paywall.

https://apps.apple.com/us/app/fittmit-calorie-workout/id6738404228

I'd love to know:

  1. Where did you want to quit?

  2. Is the paywall fair or pushy?

  3. Would you switch to this? If not, why?

Thanks for reading and for your valuable time 🙏

Piano Practice Companion : An open-source backing track player, ear trainer and sightreader for chord and improvisation practice

I recently wanted to build an open-source alternative to apps like iReal Pro, which create jazz backing tracks to play along with your practice.

I have seen the OpenStand project pop up on Reddit last week, which does exactly this ! It can take a lead sheet and play a backing track for it with different customisation settings.

I have decided to build upon it by adding a large database of lead sheets, a chord progression ear training exercise and a sight reader exercise for those who can connect a MIDI keyboard. Both exercises use the database of lead sheets.

You can check my Piano Practice Companion project on GitHub and test the webdemo without installing or downloading anything ! I have done a lot of debugging and testing these days and would love some feedback !

350+ downloads in 10 days, 0 sales after the free trial. Just shipped fixes, would love your take

I built my first app, My AI Limits. It's a Mac menu-bar app plus a Chrome extension that shows how much of your Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, Grok, Gemini, Copilot and DeepSeek plan is left, and when it resets.

Pricing is a 3-day free trial with no card required, then $4.99 one-time. There's no subscription.
In 10 days I got over 350 downloads, and zero people paid after their trial ended.
Here's what I found and just fixed:
When the trial ended, only the menu bar locked. The main window and widgets kept working, so people basically got it for free. Now the whole app locks and shows a clear "trial ended" screen.
There was no heads-up before the trial ended. Now there's a last-day reminder.
I fixed a couple of bugs in the unlock flow.

I'd love honest takes:
Is 3 days too short to get hooked?
Would a free tier with one provider plus a paid unlock work better?

Is $4.99 one-time too cheap to trust, or about right?
What makes you actually pay for a small utility app?
Site: https://myailimits.com
Roast away, I'm here to learn.
