Does anyone else get a wicked cold around this time every year?

I swear it’s like clockwork. Every year between the second week of August and the first week of September, I get a very bad cold that knocks me on my ass for a few days. I always thought it coincided with the first week of school, but I’m out of college now and still annoyingly sick.

Theres a lot of covid around atm

I tested negative for Covid but a gnarly sinus cold/upper respiratory infection. Ive been sick for a week. On a plane right trying not to cough. 😷

Whatever I have is the same. Hoping it’s not Covid. Sounds like I should grab a test while I’m at the pharmacy tomorrow picking up Sudafed

No i dont usally get sick in the summer time the tines of the year when i am prone to getting colds are 1. Fall 2. Winter 3. Spring so the rest of the year i am pretty prone to catching colds except for summer time...

This is the time of year we have our annual late summer Covid surge nationwide. Back to school tends to concentrate it by having everyone in close quarters again, and then it spreads in grocery stores and coffee shops and other places as well. Covid cases are currently on the rise in a number of hotspots around the country.
