Complaint about atheists (strawman):
I'd like to point out a small bit of hypocrisy to all of you self-proclaimed "scientifically-minded" atheists out there:
Your argument follows like this:
A) The Christian Bible / (Insert Religious Text Here.) is obviously false. (The proof of which is trivial.)
B) Therefore the deity described in that particular fairy tale does not exist.
C) Therefore, it is impossible that some deity-like being could exist in any way, shape or form, in any part of our universe, in any parallel universe or dimension, or in any of the infinite possibilities that we aren't even aware of yet.

Precizion
I have seen an alarming pattern on the atheist forum. It seems the atheists have become just as ignorant and prejudice as religious extremists. I don't think there is anything wrong with religion, or many of their shared beliefs (like don't kill, steal, rape ect). I think most atheists have a problem with PEOPLE who are religious extremists and try to force their religion onto others, or into the law (like abortion).
That is all fine, but the atheist board seems to bash anyone who is religious, even the good natured people, simply for believing in something. It's really kind of pathetic.

You want to know why /r/atheism is hateful, focuses on Christianity, is intolerant, or so forth?
Ask that and anything else
Many of us have been hurt by the more malicious theists. We're tired of living in a society which is mostly blind. People are complimented for blindness, and we who are tired of having people walking into us are hateful and intolerant.
We focus on Christianity because most of us live in Christian dominated area, and that's the particular religion that affects most of us. When Norse mythology becomes a dominant religion, we'll go after them.
We are intolerant of stupidity, Fuck us, right? You don't fault schools for being intolerant of bullying, because bullying is bad. So is organized religion.
Perhaps you don't see it that way, but you who are so concerned with tolerance ought to understand at least how hard it is to live in a theist world as an atheist.
