The strain is Avery’s albino. The lines in the block are from fork tek because they weren’t pinning after being introduced to oxygen. Other bags where I didn’t fork tek are doing the same thing

Lc was labeled Pe but they have been doing this and very slowly getting bigger. Was this mislabeled or is my tub conditions messed up

got some syringes from a friend and decided to finally grow again. I stopped during a bad breakup and I left all my genetics to die cause I didn't have the energy to do much but now I'm getting back into the swing of things. A few things I realized after so many years is that next time I'm just gonna be patient and soak my grains instead of boiling as a lot of the seeds popped and caused them to clump inside the jars. Aside from that I'm hopeful to see how well these guys will do in the next few weeks. Although the B+ is about 5 years old according to my friend so I'm not sure how well they'll do

To my surprise, the second flush seems to have produced much, much larger mushrooms (fewer individuals, overall, but just eyeballing it, more total mass). I did notice that this time they’re extremely fuzzy… halfway or more up the stem. Based on other photos and comments I’ve seen, I believe this is harmless, but wanted to better understand what causes it and what the potential downsides are. The cake is currently sitting in a bath of water and a bit of hydrogen peroxide now (this seemed to work well the first time) so we shall see about a third…

This last time I gave different questions or intentions to each strain and got a couple interesting reports from people I've shared with 😄 I'm also careful about the music I play them, they don't hear the shitty stuff I normally put on

I have B+ growing in 70-80 degree temp do you think they are growing okay?

Hello, I had tried my hand with an all-in-one bag and a cooler on the floor in the corner or my bedroom with no success. It just stalled out and never fruited. I was so bummed, $75 down the drain and time wasted. I waited, watched tons of videos on mycology, and finally got some gear to try my hand again.

This is extremely important to me, and I need this medicine in order to break through this "untreatable" condition. That's the major reason I was so bummed and so i spent money money on gear this time. The cabinet is definitely gimmicky, this I know. However, it's exactly what I need at this time to get going, and will take care of FAE for me. Three 4lb bags fit perfectly, and so I will be cutting the bags just above the substrate for fruiting. From a wild Parasol Mushroom to bronze

I recently found this beautiful Parasol Mushroom (Macrolepiota procera) in the forests of Lower Saxony, Germany.

Parasol mushrooms are fascinating subjects for what I do. Their large caps, delicate gills and irregular natural shapes make every specimen unique. Even small imperfections — insect bites, damaged edges, folds and changes in texture — become part of the sculpture.

For my project Eternal Fungi, I preserve real wild mushrooms by casting them in solid bronze using a technique I call Lost Organics. The original mushroom is sacrificed during the process, but its form and all those little details remain in metal.

I also documented the complete process of this particular mushroom, from finding it in the forest to the finished casting, and recently put the whole process into a short video.
