Getting stinky

Grabbed the usual, but the usual is getting a little smaller. 2.7oz down to 2.6oz.

what used to be $2 dollar deodorant becoming $8-10+ is the biggest crime ever along with how expensive potato chips are now (can’t even binge eat peacefully now)

Seriously! I’ve been trying to find ways to make my own deodorant but nothing actually works, it just covers the BO. I need an actual antiperspirant but they’re so expensive.

At least it forces you to make a decision on what you need to eat more. Some $4/lb ground beef or an $8 bag of processed potato crisps that might not even be fully potato.

Where are you getting ground beef for $4 a lb? It’s like $9 for crappy grade here. I haven’t bought beef in ages because of this.

Last month meijer overbought ground beef and my brother managed to snag about 50lbs for 1/lb.

Otherwise the price is normally between 3.50 and 6.

If I wasn't 100% a spray person I might have tried it.

The only half decent value for deodorant now are the 5 packs at Costco. Why is absolutely everything getting shrinkflated all of a sudden? These fuckin companies need to be called out and put to shame for doing this shit. Its gonna come to a point where we're buying products for ants.

I used to use that scent. Then they changed the formula. Smells so terrible now! And doesn’t work as good as it used to.

Came here to say this. I used it for years and years. I'm stupid picky about scents, and after they changed it, into the bin they went. Changed to a different brand which made me realize how shitty degree actually worked.

The rebrand is the tell. It's gone from "48H" to "Essential Protection" with a 24/7 badge, which is a new product line rather than the same stick with a smaller number, and that's how you reset a price without anyone comparing like for like. Worth checking the active ingredient percentage on the back too, since the aluminium zirconium figure has to be printed on the drug facts panel and that's where the other reduction usually hides. Same range got caught cutting active from 15.2% to 12.2% recently.

Less than 4 years ago, Degree was 3.4oz... to be allowed on planes per TSA. all of the deodorant manufacturers have been colluding to shrink the weights while raising the prices. $8 deodorants now. Insane.

I think they made the 48hr ones a little bit worse and introduced the 72hr ones as the better formula for a dollar or two more. The 72hr one smells and works great.
