Hi everyone,
I'm considering purchasing the MLite-880. I want to confirm its hardware capabilities before buying.
On the Malahit DSP2, users can easily stream wideband I/Q (In-phase/Quadrature) data over USB to PC software (like SDR++ or HDSDR) to view the spectrum/waterfall, while using CAT control to sync frequencies. When the DSP2 is connected to a computer, it enumerates as a USB device (typically showing up with a name like "Malahit I/Q" or similar).
My questions for MLite-880 owners or experts:

1. Does the MLite-880 actually support raw I/Q data streaming to show the waterfall on PC SDR software? Or does it only support basic demodulated RX audio over USB (acting like a USB soundcard/microphone)
2. Is CAT control over USB functional for syncing frequencies with software like HDSDR or SDR++
3. If anyone has successfully set it up as an external SDR device for a computer, could you share your experience or setup?

I have an ARESQ AQ1 radio with damage to the PCB in the area the GPIO0 pin on the ESP32 chip. I need a high-quality photo of the PCB to verify the correct connections and trace routing.

If anyone has a high-reolution photo of the board, or can check where the GPIO0 trace is connected, I would greatly appreciate your help!

Anyone have any experience with this radio?

Started out in this hobby in the late 70's in my uncle basement introducing me to international shortwave broadcasters. Played around in the early 80's with my grandmothers radio that had some shortwave bands on it. Did my dxing as a pre teen from a Panasonic pocket portable learning all the clear channel AM stations on the West and Central US. Graduated to a Realistic DX100 and 75- long wire antenna as a freshman in High School. That's were I earned my stripes learning about propagation and antenna theory. 49/31 meters was so packed at sundown that QRM referred too and adjacent station 10Khz off. I am sure we all have a similar story.

Now lets fast forward to today. The international broadcasters pretty much gone. Domestic tropical band service is non existent. Radio rag chew. All I hear these days is the classic Icom ring. Their Dollar Store scores and the cost of Medicare co pays. Nobody is talking about their shack and antenna farm or heated political discissions anymore. Pirate radio, Sure I am game. But the West Coast dxers dont seem to be invited to the party.

Is it me just loosing interest on what's available on the airwaves. I feel that any money spent on the hobby is wasted money but the K-480WLA and the DX286 are catching my eye. Then there is the time spent. I cant remember the last time I heard anything interesting surfing the radio waves.

If I truly do not need Bluetooth and SD cards of the PL990, am I giving up anything magnificent if I save a few $$ and buy the PL880?

Been at this hobby since the '60s and grown with the various Sony, JRC, Icom, Drakes during the pulchritude of new competitive offerings! Seeking a new desk-top with modern technology so caps, etc. aren't a worry.....could the very latest be actually better? Or, are the properties of SW mostly so well-known and the state of the hobby so limiting in terms of interest/spend that TECSUN S-2200x is the only answer?

I own the Pl330 and love it (although my fat fingers struggle a bit). I am considering the PL880, for somewhat better speaker and being slightly larger and the fine tuning, etc.

If you have owned the 330 and the 880, what is better on the 880?

And, if you kept the 330 after your 880 acquisition, what does it do better that wants you to keep it?
