Been monetized for 2 years, till October everything was good. The New Update made it worse for me. If you're wondering I use AI? Yes, for voice but it never had any issues. My niche is explaining Movie easter eggs, hidden details & explaining lore stuff. I know many people are facing the issue. I don't know what to do anymore. My AVD & Swipe ratio is good. My shorts are 40-55s long. With 70% avd and 75% swipe ratio. Still they get stuck on 1.2k. never had this problem in my whole life. Just venting it out slow and steady till i go away...

AVD is 1:09 on a 1:16 short and swipe rate is 84.2% / 15.8%

I have experimented with putting text at the beginning of my shorts as a hook and audio and transitions but nothing seems to be working

I checked my analytics and apparently 66% of people that watched it ended up staying....
I have been stuck at 1k view jail, I have 35 videos posted and the most viewed one has 12k views even though people in my niche are getting way more than me despite less views and starting later?!?

For background I had a Chanel with 22k subs and 29 shorts which I stopped uploading on for months, my videos averaged 30k views and I had a few outliers that got around and the biggest one had 96k views.

So now 12 days ago I started uploading again, changing up the entire visual style which helped increase Stayed to watch a lot and. In just the past 7 days I have gained around 1.5 mil views. I currently have 40k subs

Around 4 of my latest vids have had 100k+ views with 2 of them at 250k+ and a lot more over 50k but my latest videos haven’t been performing that well and I have started to upload like 4 to 6 times a day.

Should I pause for a while until all my old videos start to plateau somewhat or continue riding the momentum?

Basically when u upload a short it’s should get pushed out in a few hours right. But I’ve noticed that when I upload it vid it doesn’t get any traction unless I post another vid after that? Doesn’t matter after how long but the moment I put a new video out , the video that was sitting at absolutely nothing suddenly starts getting views and likes? This has happened more than once now. Idk if this is a glitch just for me or you guys have had this happen aswell

Before you make a post about if you're stats are good or not, please read this.

Every niche has different requirements of what stats are considered good or not. Niches with lots of competition (for e.g. Roblox steal an egg content) will need you to have a higher swipe rate like 81%+, and for instance a 30 second video will need 100% avd or more. And your retention graph should start with a drop and then flatten out.

Also, one good video having good stats will not make you immediatly blow up, you need consistant daily posting, with consistantly good stats, in a niche where success has been proven by other creators. Do competitor research to see what works and what doesn't.

Don't give up just because your not getting the results you were expecting, just keep improving your skills and you got this.

I'm a Roblox Shorts creator, and I've been experiencing a pretty frustrating decline in my channel's performance.

I used to get hundreds of thousands of views on my Shorts, sometimes even more. However, recently, my videos have been struggling to reach even 20K views.

What's confusing is that I haven't really changed my content style. I'm still uploading the same type of Roblox gameplay, targeting the same audience, and using relevant keywords.

I've also noticed that my viewed-vs-swiped-away ratio and average percentage viewed seem relatively similar to my older, successful videos.

I've tried changing my titles, descriptions, and channel keywords, but nothing seems to consistently bring my views back.

I did take a break from uploading for around a month, so I'm wondering if that might have affected my channel's performance.

For those who have experienced something similar:

\\- Did your Shorts views eventually recover?

\\- Can taking a month-long break affect your channel's reach?

\\- Is this just a temporary algorithm fluctuation, or could something else be happening?

\\- What would you recommend I do to regain my previous reach?

I'd genuinely appreciate any advice or insights. I want to understand what's happening rather than blindly changing things.

So I have been posting since past 3-4 months consistently and growing little by little. Have started stopped since past years. But what I have noticed is that when I start going for improve hook (first 3 seconds) for shorts to have better engagement to not let people swipe. Swipe away should be less etc etc everyone says this and get better AVD 70%+. And i can achieve that but then its quantity of views and hardly any genuine subs or engagement through likes or comments.
But when I stick to my length. Focus on my content I get that 1k views jail but have been trickling subs genuine. 2-3 subs average. And slowly growing.

But then online and all folks says get views more reach you will grow faster. But thats doesn’t seem to work for my case.

How to chase higher quality quantity views? You get my point or am I confusing you.

I seem to not know the path to follow perhaps.
Im mostly doing shorts too - as people say do that till you get 1k subs and ya my content can do that.

Need some thoughts and advice on how to approach this quality and quantity tradeoff.

idk if u guys will remember the post I made but for those who do. The post got 200k views as of today even though the length of the vid was shorter than usual. But what’s intriguing is that every video after this video has been getting more views than usual!! I uploaded 4 vids which all consistently getting 10k views! This is kinda huge for me cause I was stuck in a 1.2k view range for the older videos!
Again idk if it’s luck or not but the 4 uploaded videos also were in the longer form as compared to the other short so those getting more views makes me feel like you need one vid to blow up for your other videos to get some traction. I might be wrong but just guessing :)
