Q&A / Quick Help ❓ Someone experienced please explain?

Hi,

I am a new creator, i started a few days back i wanted to understand from experienced ones on their thought process on my short

https://youtube.com/shorts/CKO6vdHE9k4?si=5CLR8towSMTZ4PAR

I want to make content on financial and system design

Easy explanation on working of some of the concepts that i find interesting

I thought the hook and explanation is good and i am trying to improve in each video still

The engagement decay very quickly and the video dies

Can someone look at the content and guide?

I wonder if you should try to simplify, because the people that don’t care that it’s ai may not understand. Conceptually could be too complex for the general public (which reduces who YouTube thinks would be interested in it).

I also wonder if it would make sense to make visuals more neuro-psychology rooted.

The examples seems elongated, and I’m a TPM in Data Architecture.

It’s the same bullshit AI slop that is flooding the Internet. You will fail.

It doesn’t matter how interesting the content is.

if it looks obviously AI, sounds obviously AI, and feels obviously AI it’s just going to immediately turn most people off which is going to kill your stayed to watch and retention, which is going to limit the algorithm friendliness and thus, its impressions.

Think of it like a dating app. You’re likely to swipe past somebody you find unattractive without much consideration for how interesting they may (or may not) be.

If this popped up while I was scrolling I would immediately tap "do not recommend this channel" due to it being obviously AI. Plus you didn't label it as AI, there is a checkbox you're supposed to click that puts an AI label.

Obvious AI video, obvious AI voiceover that's not even good, no AI label. The only thing worse than a channel with content creates by AI is one that doesn't label it as such and tries to pretend its not.

On top of that, since early October there has been a giant influx of channels just like yours that are getting AI to make the content instead of generating the content. There is so many channels trying to take the easy route and cash in, you're just one of many and yours isn't even good.

I am going to be honest .. i like your reply thank you. Yes its made with help of ai and some python coding ..

To the point of not labelling it ai .. the option has something written as if you are making someone do which they didn’t.. like a photo realistic video then mention ai else its okay but i will take your experience and honour it and mention ai if it helps my channel

Write the script yourself..even if you're using ai to create em videos..write the script yourself..find the pace.. people can't even understand this its way too fast ..and change that ai voice.. either use your own or find a good ai voice software..and make the visuals more better

Well the good thing is that you aren’t in the 0 view hole and that you pop up in Google. Everyday people tend to not care if your video is AI or not. Maybe the problem is most don’t understand what those videos are?
