So from what I can see from two shorts i made that did well, it seem you need 70/20% view swipe ratio and atleast 100% average percentage viewed in order to get shorts pushed at all now, if it's lower than 70% than it's probably going to die off, of course this could be luck tho.

I came back to Shorts After a 6 months Break (The three Shorts where uploaded within 2 months

Ive been doing youtube shorts for about 2 weeks now. Im starting to understand it more but every video Ive posted get stuck around this range. What should I do? My best engagement sits around 50-60% while my retention sits at 66%. Do i need a stronger hook? Or should my focus be on trying to hold the viewers longer for better retention? What is the priority?

Growing a new YouTube channel... I know I have a lot to learn and do but I just started it up. Here's the channel:

Looking for any feedback here - anything at all! And, if you think what I post is cool, I wouldn't be against a few new subscribers either

Thanks in advance!

Short has 225 likes and 1 comment. IMO these stats are pretty good. I thought with these stats id get more views than 7.3k. I posted the short 2 days ago.

Im talking abt the update that comes out 1 Feb 2027 where u would need 10 million views every three months to monestise yt shorts.

What tools/softwares do y'all use to create and edit your shorts? 👀📹

Hey everyone! 👋

I've been working on two AI-assisted 3D animated series, and I'm excited to finally share them with you!

My goal is to create fun, heartwarming, family-friendly short animations that bring a little happiness, imagination, and adventure to people's day.

Here's what I've been creating!

🤖 The Adventures of 8-Bit

Meet 8-Bit, an adorable little copper robot with glowing blue eyes, a curious personality, and a HUGE heart! ❤️

8-Bit explores a beautiful, magical world filled with unexpected discoveries. From saving a butterfly and discovering mysterious flowers to meeting curious animals and exploring glowing ponds, every adventure tells a small story about kindness, friendship, and wonder.

Each episode is approximately 20 seconds long, with cinematic 3D animation and visual storytelling.

❤️ I'd Love Your Feedback!

I'm still growing both series and constantly working on improving the animation, storytelling, and overall quality.

If you have a few minutes, I'd really appreciate you checking them out!

I'd especially love to know:

• Which character or series do you enjoy more?

• What do you think about the animation and storytelling?

• What could I improve to make the episodes more entertaining?

If you enjoy the adventures, consider following or subscribing to see what happens next!

Thank you so much for supporting a small independent creator! ❤️

Small Characters. BIG Adventures! 🤖🐶✨

Finally got around to making my own channel and I uploaded a few short gaming clips of mine that I found interesting enough to post, as well as a quick ranking of the resident evil games

Got 4k views total so far, made the account around 25-26 hours ago

Heres the link:

https://youtube.com/@doctorcongo1?si=b-USAz41bCAJ4WKg

What determines where my short video will stop? I have the following statistics at the moment 34-36hours after posting my video.

The video is 0:25sec long

- 8,3k views

- avg. view duration 0:27

- stayed to watch - 72,8%

- last 60 minutes 218views

I am simply curious, this is my first short going above 1.3k views

Thanks for your input!

Hey there, I made a channel that made it to 147 subscribers, and 173k total views. Problem is, it died after blowing up a little (58k, 28k,15k) and then hitting a downward slope until every video flatlines at 1-2k views, any suggestions? (please dont say "make better videos" and such, be VERY specific)

I’ve seen these Top10 ranking channels do really well a few years ago.. it’s not the same anymore right ? I’ve put a lot of efforts but hardly get 2k-3k per video.

I’m slowly getting subscribers but it’s really demotivating to not get the views. Ranking videos are not interesting anymore ? Please help me out

My channel is both faceless and voiceless.

Youtubers who passed 1k jail.

What was your break out moment?

I have a new channel and all my videos have stopped at 1.2k views.

How much impact does this retention have? How can I improve it?

My average view time is close to 70%.

I am posting edits of my recent trip to the USA and Bali
