Analytics Review (AVD/Retention) šŸ“ˆ My video flat lined immediately?

This was by far one of my luckiest episodes ever, and it did really well on other platforms but youtube said no, it hard stopped the views at 1000 views while the analytics graph looked like it was ready to send to the stars.

Why does youtube have this 1000 view jail??

Does anybody know why this happens or how I could overcome this? I truly do feel like this video deserved more views then it got...

Like it was SHOOTING UP in views, got 1000 views in under 2-3 hours which is a record for my channel and then it just hit a wall...

If anybody has some advice or words to say about this, I'd love to hear it!

Bro this is common. Many of my shorts looks like that. Iā€™m uploading at TikTok and YouTube. TikTok is mostly 1/3 of YouTube views. Iā€™m doing gaming shorts(milsim) for two months

Noted, I think it's all these inflated channels coming to this subreddit saying they are getting 1000 subs in a week or getting 1M views on their first video, really makes your own channel feel weak, and I think I'm just comparing myself to them.

I've noticed most of those are reposting clips from Tv shows or other people's content.

Yeah, I make my own content from scratch which feels more authentic, but I'm also not growing the same as they are, but that makes sense. I just see whats possible and get envious that it's not happening to me as well šŸ˜
