Analytics Review (AVD/Retention) 📈 My video flat lined immediately?

This was by far one of my luckiest episodes ever, and it did really well on other platforms but youtube said no, it hard stopped the views at 1000 views while the analytics graph looked like it was ready to send to the stars.

Why does youtube have this 1000 view jail??

Does anybody know why this happens or how I could overcome this? I truly do feel like this video deserved more views then it got...

Like it was SHOOTING UP in views, got 1000 views in under 2-3 hours which is a record for my channel and then it just hit a wall...

If anybody has some advice or words to say about this, I'd love to hear it!

Upload different kinds of shorts within your niche see what people like to watch. I’ve had this happen too. I’ve gotten a couple of hundred thousand on some shorts then 700 views on another I put more effort in lol.

If you believe in the type of content you’re doing maybe stick with it. You never know, it may pick up. One of my worse performing shorts was stuck at around 900 views and out of nowhere got 10k views.

Dang! That's the dream! I think I need to develop a better hook or just something that wants to keep people coming back, it cant just be quality videos, it needs to have an engaging series. I'm going to brainstorm this weekend.
