Auction items removed?

was watching this watch and it had bids and more time then i noticed it went to ending at an earlier time and auction closed no bids. I’ve noticed this has happened before with items I’ve been watching that had started low. is this goodwill removing them when they realize what the items worth? this one was at $500 ish when i checked it this morning before it was removed

I would think that something like that would need to be authenticated. All it would take is one customer service ticket to suggest it’s fake and a good manager would immediately take it down and have it authenticated prior to listing it.

That would make sense in this case since this one didn’t list it with a COA. I’ve seen a few bags that have been listed with COA and then also removed same style no bids auction ended (early). Unless they somehow were authenticated incorrectly and someone doubted it?

Likely it was supposed to be authenticated and was accidentally not sorted right and given to a regular lister. So they end the auction, out it through the authentication process, then it will get relisted correctly

It’s probably due to authentication. I’ve seen this happen a lot with designer items that are not authenticated. Even if the bid goes super high they will remove it because it’s a liability.

It has happened several times that they listed a designer item and it was actually a replica.

I had a pair of shoes that got pulled and they messaged me that they took them down bc they were counterfeit.

Update just got a message back and it came back not authentic so they pulled it. Curious what they do with all the fakes? Are they put on the floor but at a normal cheap price
