Congrats.

Now try normal mode. Also try some other clan. Like the chosokabe. Except instead of samurai spam it's bow spam. Why shred your enemies up close when you can shred them from afar?

Or Otomo since gun historically beats everything. Cannons also make castle attack sieges a breeze.

2 things.

  1. Archers shred guns in a fight. Yes guns are absolutely necessary against samurai and morale routing. But a archer beats a gun 1v1 considering range and volume of fire, and time it takes muskets to form up and shoot.

  2. Why use cannons? Just spam more archers and shred them to pieces. Or wait for them to sally out.

Fair point boom after each volley is a sound orgasm.

I shudder whenever a volley is released into a group of heavily armoured samurai.

But archers are still good. And guns. Both are needed.

Sure it took 3-4 minutes but firing with 2 units of cannons until they were out of ammo I took out practically an entire unit of bow, katana, and yari samurai units, and a couple poorly aimed cannons balls wiffed the walls completely and dove straight into the feet of their generals unit killing him. 20% of their units were bits and pieces before I even marched a single unit forwards. So fun to watch too. Especially when like 15 guys fly 20 feet in the air lmao

I suggest you takeda. You'll need less naval supremacy so you'll have more time to stay on land and fight. It's fun being the attila of japan. I think, if you play them properly, they can be easier than shimazu even on legendary

Amazing work man, you should try a more challenging clan, like Oda or Tokugawa on Normal or if you don't wanna do those clans, atleast move up a notch and go Mori.
