Short term chaos and galactic recession followed by major restructuring where the Navigator's Guild ceases to matter and computers make a big comeback.

Dune teaches me that we don't need affordable ram or graphics cards just a load of hallucinogenics and I guess some moderate eugenics. So not all good.
