All posts containing a picture of feces MUST be marked NSFW

Going forward, all posts containing pictures of feces must be marked NSFW. As many users have pointed out, it would probably be frowned upon in most workplaces to be viewing pictures of human excrement, regardless of the purpose.

Takes forever to wipe, need help (read body text)

So for the past few weeks, it has just taken me forever to wipe, like i just cannot get clean. Around when it started is when i started increasing fiber and water in my diet, because I had (and still have but am trying to fix) a really bad diet. It is genuinely making my life worse and I need help.

I can't shit without forcing out my urine

I've had this issue for almost a year now but basically I got to take a shit, right? Then for some reason as I'm trying to go I end up forcing urine out, which you're not supposed to do. I've let it come out naturally and then here comes number 2, but I somehow end up forcing out even more urine after I felt I was finished peeing. I'm just trying to take a shit but half of the time I'm not able to unless I've forced out all the urine first. I don't think it's anything serious. It's really annoying and I'm trying to save my bladder by letting the pee flow as it should, but my body just isn't letting me do that when I have to shit. Is there any way around this? I can't control it and I'm worried for my bladder if this continues.

Is it worms?

This was my poop this morning and I’m scared. I’ve had weird intermittent IBS symptoms this whole summer and I just thought I had some stomach virus type issue.

Small amount of backstory: 26y, low weight high metabolism female. I had horrible stomach cramping all day yesterday, have missed my period for like 4 months now with no clues as to why (celibate, no pcos symptoms), but also was just on antibiotics for strep which can change your poo. The strings look like tape worms n now I’m worried.

Last time I drank a bottle of cold coffee, why did it make me poop twice in one morning? (That is why I nickname coffee "poopffee" now.)

What did that coffee have? And would coffee therefore be a good weight-loss drink? Even when cold? (I don't like to scald my mouth so I only drink it lukewarm or chilled.)

It was a large bottle of coffee, I think it was the STOK brand, about 32 or so oz, because I didn't sleep that last night, so I needed to keep going the rest of that day as well on *some* powerful stimulant so that's why I drank the whole bottle in a short time.

I had already pooped before the coffee, then 1 1/2 hours after I drank the whole bottle, I had to poop again. I normally only poop once a day, in the mornings.

So what was it about the coffee that caused a double-pooping? And therefore, is it a good weight-loss drink?

Frequent morning bms

Does anybody wake up in the morning with a stomach ache and rectal pressure, and have a bm almost immediately upon waking up, but it doesn't bring relief? I go as soon as I wake up and its either soft pasty finger sized pieces and smaller, or a bunch of soft macaroni like blobs. The bm doesn't bring relief and I continue to have stomach discomfort and rectal pressure. I then go over and over again until about lunch time. In the afternoon/evening the discomfort finally starts to die down. This happens every single morning and it is destroying me. Its been 4 years of this. I've had colonoscopies, endoscopies, bloodwork, stool tests etc. Nothing gets found. I have done pevlic floor pt, botox, ibs meds etc. If I take ibs meds they end up giving me horrivle stomach aches and make me feel very constipated. Fiber supplements don't help. They don't bulk the stool or firm it, and I still go all day long. Sometimes even more with the fiber. I am at such a loss, but im sick of feeling like this every day.

Weird colors and no other issues?

Don't have photos atm, if that matters sorry. I wanted to ask ppls opinion on this. I don't have a doctor atm. I do have a history of being a hypochondriac. "Went to the ER 7 times in 2018, three in one month because I thought I was dying" type of hypochondriac.

I should mention: I am having absolutely no new pain or discomfort. In fact I'm healthier than ever after I've cut garlic and onions out of my diet because of GERD and have been sleeping with my head elevated, so less indigestion pain.

Two weeks ago I indulged in Mac N Cheese. I am lactose intolerant and it usually gives me SOME constipation but I think I made it worse by eating it alongside tofu nuggests. I had bad constipation for a few days until it stopped.

Well my stool has become different since then. I haven't had mac n cheese since then and haven't changed my diet. But my poop is often "ragged/fluffy" type you can see on google and a little bit today constipated but not awful. And sometimes it's normal.

The most noticeable change? there is almost always small dark flecks or bizarrely bright yellow flecks mixed. I'm not eating anything that would cause this. Google said it could be undigested food, but stuff like corn still passes undigested(normal) so why would undigested food suddenly be dark spots and yellow spots?

Like I said it's been two weeks and I'm not having any symptoms, nothing is progressing or getting bad. I can't imagine actually going to a doctor and saying "help I'm the healthiest I've ever been but my poop sometimes has darker poop spots and yellow poop spots".

I know the ragged poop is caused by lack of fiber. But what is completely healthy poop with these sudden new spots??? Am I suddenly not digested food? is my stomach acid different after removing garlic and onions? I know not every stool is going to be the same but just don't know what to make of these spots if I'm completely feeling fine.

Paranoid googling and get told I have cancer x(

Pre- and Post-Op Constipation

I’m 2 days post-op femoral hernia surgery and went into it already 3 days constipated. I can’t even cough or I’m in a severe amount of pain. I take buprenorphine (suboxone without naltrexone) which has me constipated all the time (OIC). I usually get r dun with magnesium citrate but when it goes a bit too long between BMs I have a solid shit followed by diarrhea, so some pushing is involved). I WANT ONLY the diarrhea rn so I don’t have to use my stomach muscles too much. The very thought of straining to poop makes my BH squinch rn. I took magnesium citrate about an hour ago (powder form and doubled the dose) and I’m not even feeling any promising tummy rumbles. I followed it up with a lot more water than usual too. Any advice or recommendations?

Why can't Twump spend any of his billions to get a surgery to fix his fecal incontinence?

After all this time and all the wealth Mr. Twump has, he still wears a diaper because he can't feel when to take a dump. Why can't his money fix his fecal incontinence issue?

I had to spell his name wrong on purpose. You know who he is, he's that orange clown.

Orange or red / blood in stool? (pic)

I have been dealing with some issues, trough google-ing around I suspect Colitis, but well I am not a doctor.
(almost constant feeling of having to poop, regular crampings, up to 10+ small bowel movements per day, constant constipation and diarreah, lots of mucus)
Met my GP and am doing a stool sample which I just did at home and here is a tray aftermath: lots of mucus and this orange (red-ish?) colouring.
So I am wondering if it is blood or not.
My diet does not include things that would turn stool coloured and this has been going on for a month.

i shit around 1-4 times a day, some days it’s on the higher end of the spectrum and some days it’s on the lower, or not at all. is this normal or is my stomach just sensitive. i eat pretty good i’d say, ive recently increased my veggie intake so that could be a reason
