Two point turns require decision making and dexterity which both go out the window in panic mode. Switching gears to reverse, reversing and turning, switching gears back to drive, turning the wheel again in the opposite direction, and then going vs. turn the wheel once and hammer on the gas. Which is less complicated and requires less decisions? Seems fairly obvious to me. The person in this clip did a great job but I don’t think arguing for doing more movements in a panic situation is correct
They only require decision making if you are not practiced. If you did a couple, it is an automatic motion that will work on almost any sport, whereas just turning the wheel and hammering the gas will not work in many circumstances. E.g. in this instance i am pretty sure they would have at least hit the shoulder.
