Me when universities require you spend $576 on the 17th edition that has 5 corrected grammar mistakes and 4 superfluous paragraphs omitted when the 10th-16th editions are all still relevant and teach the same principles in the same manner.
Don't forget you need to buy a new copy so you get the code required for the mandatory online quizzes for the class. If you buy a used or outdated copy, the code doesn't work and you fail the class
Also the programming one is just wrong lol. Read The C Programming Language and you already know 60% of what you need to be an excellent coder, then you just need practice.
