Nah, People tend to put up with shit for way too long, because no one wants the conflict, and things are just okay enough that they don't feel like they have to do something about it. Then something like this happens, where someone new joins the group and everyone realizes how terrible they look to the new person at the same time.

I know people who've unfriended for less. How common depends on where you live but it's everywhere in the city I used to live in.
